It works okay. It pulls the hair out but the brush part pulls off the handle easily.

Works well enough

Very easy to assemble and use. Works wonders on my short-haired Great Dane. Be ready for piles of hair if your dog sheds a lot (better to be in the comb than on the floor).

This thing was delivered fast. My cat and I love it. I cant believe the amount of hair and undercoat that I brushed off of her.

I refinish furniture in my spare time. So it is very important to me to keep my dogs shedding under control. There is nothing worse than noticing a stray strand of dog hair in the dried paint ten minutes before a customer is arriving to pick up their custom piece. So I am always looking for a good bush, or shampoo to reduce the shedding from my collie. She always seems to have a ton of excess hair.This works very well for my purposes. It is simple to use and really gets the fur that is harder to get. I almost removed another dog from my girl. I noticed a visible difference int he amount of fur that went flying when she shook as opposed to how much went flying before I used the brush. Make sure you use a light hand with this as being to rough can irritate the dogs skin. Also, for the same reason, if you have an area to work on that needs a lot of work....be sure to spread it out so you do not cause your dog discomfort.I am very pleased with how well made and sturdy this grooming tool is. I love that I have the opportunity to review products for Amazon sellers at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I do not have any pets, but our neighbors have the cutest beagle named Maddie. I asked my neighbor if I could try the Pet Grooming tool on Maddie. She said it looked similar to the one that they have called the "FURminator". We used the pet grooming tool on Maddie and my neighbor instantly noticed that it was much more light weigh and easier to handle than the FURminator. She said it worked equally as effective but asked me how much it cost so that she could compare that aspect. I looked up the price and shared it with her which resulted in her mouth dropping!! Apparently she spent in the area of $50 on the de-shedding tool she had and wished she would have gone this route with the comparable version by Shenzhen Kingsing Pet Products Co., Ltd., as it is just as effective and much easier on the pocket book. Great product!
