Great Power Bank and Wall Charger!
I really like this 2-in-1 power bank and charger! I used to carry a pouch that had a power bank and 12-watt Apple charger. This device helped to slim down the contents of my pouch so that I can charge my phone, iPad Pro, apple watch, and AirPods all with one device. It could also charge my MacBook air (slowly) in a pinch! As for the main problem that people have with this power bank; no, it will not completely charge your phone, and then itself when the phone is fully charged. In my experience, unplug the cable from the charger and it will start charging itself. Also, I really do not think it would be good for the bank's long-term battery health to act as a charger that stays plugged in all the time anyway. I normally only charge my phone (11 pro max) to around 80% most of the time since that is sufficient enough to get me through my day, and if it is not, I have the power bank for a reason! The PD 18-watt usb-c port is great for fast charging iPhones! The 5,000 mah capacity is enough to charge things like most phones, watches, or earbuds. It will top off a tablet, or at least pull the charge up to give you more usage time, but it certainly will not fully charge many tablets from dead or almost dead. I do wish the capacity was a little larger, like 6,000-8,000 mah, but it is what it is. If you are looking for a 2-in-1, this is probably one of the best options out there right now from a reputable brand. I have always been satisfied with my Anker chargers, power banks, and cables, and have never had any problems. Most people that have bad experiences usually have a dud product; it happens to all manufacturers as nothing is perfect. Hopefully Anker will update this to a slimmer or similar sized version with a higher capacity soon!

Very Nice, Works Well
While the charger works well, its second function as a portable charger really sets this apart. Charging an iPhone 12 while plugged to an outlet is quick. However, it can also be disconnected from the outlet, and as a portable charger, it will recharge a phone or other device several times. I have had several portable chargers, but I forget to plug them in to recharge. Since this is also a wall charger, it is always fully charged when I need to take it with me. That is an excellent feature.

Maybe I got lucky
I was a little put off by the other reviews saying it doesn’t charge two devices at once, or that it won’t charge itself if something is plugged up to it. Happy to report that after a couple months with it, it works perfectly. It can charge two devices at once. Both plugged into the wall and on battery mode. You do have to click the button to make it work for both. It charges itself after whatever is plugged up to it has charged. AND if the thing plugged up to it isn’t pulling maximum it will charge itself and the thing simultaneously. It literally just did this with my iPad, prompting me to finally leave this review. UPDATE: after two and a half years of constant daily use the battery on this stopped working. This was with multiple charge cycles per day including full depletions. This was my primary power banks and charging block. I travelled, hiked, biked, camped, etc. constantly with this device. It was in the freezing cold, rain, and in the blazing heat outside. Though I am sad it stopped working, I am thoroughly impressed with how long it lasted through such hard use, I am sure it would have lasted longer if I was constantly plugging/unplugging it and running it to 0%. Great product, I just ordered the new one with 10,000 mah. The only drawback is that the internal battery isn’t as big as I was hoping. I can fully charge an iPhone with it, but not my iPad mini.

Good for Travel
Second Update: Anker contacted me and determined that the item I got had a defective battery, they sent a new one and this one works well. Pleased with the customer service and quick response. Thanks for the quick resolution! Update: The USB-A port on this device will no longer charge simultaneously while the USB-C port is in use. I’ve tried it on multiple devices/configurations and I’m puzzled! It stopped working recently - I didn’t take it out for travel or anything just yet. This model I got may have been defective. Previous Review: This device is working great so far, it charges very quickly and works well with an iPhone 11! I was looking for a device that had both USB-C charging capabilities and stumbled across this new one from Anker that included a portable charger too! Win/win! One star off for travel portability, it’s definitely larger than I expected - but not terribly so, especially since this includes both a charging dock and power bank. The 10,000 maH small one that Anker makes is definitely more compact, but that one also stopped holding a charge for me and malfunctioned - so I wouldn’t recommend it! Overall pleased with the quality of this one and hoping it will last! If you’re looking for a charger and dock all in one, this is a good option!
