⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Amazing Results on My 250,000-Mile Truck—Headlights Look Brand New!** This 3M Ultra Headlight Restoration Kit came with everything we needed to restore the very dated headlights on my truck. We’re talking about a truck with 250,000 miles on it, and the difference is incredible! The headlights look brand new again. This was a much more affordable solution than replacing the headlight lenses, and the results were absolutely worth the effort. The instructions were easy to follow, and having everything included in one kit made the process convenient. I would recommend setting aside about half a day to complete the project, but the results make it well worth your time. We were so impressed with how well it worked that we’re ordering another kit to restore my father’s headlights for Father’s Day. I think he’s going to love the results! If your headlights are looking cloudy, yellowed, or worn out, this kit is definitely worth considering. Great value and fantastic results!

Worked great. Bought 2 kits to do both my cars. Advice, take your time and follow directions exactly as written and you should have good results ( it will probably depend on how damaged your headlights are), mine were 15 and 16 years old and they look brand new. The kit comes with 500, 800, and 3000 grit for the final polish before using the protective clear pads. Being in the automotive refinish business for almost 40 years I thought the jump from 800 to 3000 was a bit much but it worked great. On the second set of lights I used 2000 grit to mock down the 800 grit scratches before using the 3000 grit the kit came with, what a difference. The 3000 actually polished the 2000 SO much easier. In the end, the results for both sets were the same, both sets of lights looked brand new. It says it lasts 18 months so we’ll see. I would definitely recommend using this kit but I’ll say it again. Follow the directions exactly as written.

Product works great at clearing up, headlight, yellowing and frosting. Made a huge difference for visibility and transparency of the lens. The only question is how long will it last and will additional treatments yield the same result? For the price and ease of use it’s pretty remarkable product. Just have to make sure you have a drill and it’s specifies a certain RPM because if you run faster than that, you can melt the lens in spots. All in all I’m very satisfied, especially for the price.

I didn't get a chance to use this whenever I first bought it and because of the time period that had latched between then and the time that I actually used it the little silicone white towelettes in there were half hard and dried out but I was able to get a little something out of them I wish I had a couple of more you know good ones but I was able to make it work but the kid actually works pretty good my headlights look I wouldn't say brand new but virtually new everybody that saw it my neighbors that saw me working on it were amazed at how good it looked and I even took a couple of shortcuts.

I have not tried every restoration system out there, so I cannot state that this is the best system, but I can tell you that this is a solid solution that you will be happy with. To level set, no restoration kit will ever restore your headlight lenses to factory new condition. But this one gets them close. For the same reasons, I cannot state that this kit is the best value, but I can say that anything that works well at any price is a better value than something that does not work well at a lower price. One of the chief complaints of headlight restoration kits is that the restoration does not last. That's because most of the kits out there attempt to "fill in" the scratches, and eventually that filler washes out, disintegrates, or whatever. This kit actually polishes the plastic to *remove* the scratches. As such, the process takes longer and is more fiddly. The extra effort though results in a better looking and longer lasting result. I bought this kit 2 years ago, and my headlights look as good as the day I finished using the kit. The results you will get will depend on your patience and your willingness to understand and follow the instructions exactly. Read the directions carefully, do exactly what they say, for as long as they say. I spent - if I recall - about 45 minutes on each headlight. - Your headlights will look much worse initially, and you may think you are doing more harm than good. Don't be paranoid. Complete the course, finish all the steps. Once you get through the first two grits, each step after that will look better and better. - The instructions will warn you to avoid lingering in one spot with the power drill. That warning worried me, but it's really easy to avoid, and you can tell when you're doing it right. Be gentle, don't push too hard, and keep moving. - It may also look like they haven't given you enough of the different polishing pads, but my headlights are huge and I had extras. - Mask carefully, because you will run off the edge of the headlights and you don't want to scratch your paint. If you wear down the masking tape, stop and apply more. - When it comes time to wipe on the polymer, again, do it exactly as they tell you. Exactly. You only get just enough to get it done and you only get one shot to make it look right. Make sure you are fully prepped before tearing open the packet. - Do this in a garage or in the shade. Anyway, that's my advice. You won't be disappointed with this kit.

For the price, quality of materials and outcome, I can't recommend enough. My headlights weren't terrible, but we're showing age. Ended up looking brand new in about 40 minutes. I must admit that I was a little worried about half way through, but as soon as I started wet sanding with 3000 grit, I knew it was going to end up looking great. Read the instructions, don't rush and buy with confidence.

I purchased this to try out on a 15 y.o. Lexus RX350 with heavy yellowing and matting on the plastic headlight lenses. It took me some a little time to figure out the best sanding technique using my drill as the disk kept sliding around the bulding part of the lens. That said, the final result was AMAZING. The clarity is literally like new. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor, and give this a try. DO read the instructions. Every word. I took a few extra passes using the coarse abrasive and wish that I used that time instead on the second abrasive instead (as the instructions suggested, lol). In essense, it's a 4-step process: 1. use a coarses disk to get rid of the yellowing/resurface the lens, 2. use a finer disk to work out the coarse scratches from step 1, 3. use a wet disk to polish off the finer scratches left from step 2., and 4. apply a refinishing product (via a wipe) to give it the glossy shine. One tip on step 4 - avoid doing it in the sun or a hot day and go slowly, as the manual recommends. The same wipe covers two headlight no problem, so you don't need to rush or worry about having enough product - THERE IS ENOUGH. The manufacturer suggests overlapping the wipe applications by 25-50% I believe. Do that. I tried going back and touching up a few spots that didn't get as much product (I probably didn't apply the same pressure throughout the entire lens) and the product had already partically dried. This created some brush strokes on the lens, which wasn't that bad. Had I not done that and waited until the first application dried completely, I wouldn've achieved absolute perfection! FYI, the product comes with 2 wipes that you use in step 4. You apply the second applicaiton after the first one fully dries. Again, read the instructions, take your time and you'll be pleased with the end result.

I would highly recommend this kit. I wish I took before pictures do my headlights. The kit worked so well! My car looks 5 or more years newer because of how great the headlights look now. So easy to use and great directions. If your headlights are yellow and cloudy this will 100% help!

It did not disappoint, never thought my 2010 OEM Mini Cooper headlights will look like new again.
