These four movies have exactly what you are looking for on a holiday dvd:warm family stories with a hint of a Christmas miracle. "Noel" adds a contemporary twist to the classic happy ending :"Meg" and "Jo "revisit two old,familiar friends for the holidays ;and "Christmas without Snow "provides a low key problem/resolution that warms the heart with seasonal flavour.Christmas movies should be comfortable and easy to watch, satisfying in a 'home for Christmas' way. These four movies don't disappoint and provide great value for the money.

I purchased the product because I wanted the Noel movie starring Susan Sarandon, one of my favorite actresses. Also, part of the movie is filmed in Manhattan in the South Street Seaport area, near where I was employed for many years, so it brings back pleasant memories. Robin Williams surprised me by acting well in a very serious role. I haven't seen the other 3 films in the pack,but Noel alone is worth the bargain price. The resolution (picture quality) is not the best, but it is what is to be expected when you buy a "4 pack". I first saw Noel on Netflix and have since seen it 3 more times. It has become part of my holiday tradition.

Sorry I bought this, for me it was a waste of money and time watching 2 of the movies (the 2 little women were ok)

Noel is the one I liked the best. It relies on a certain amount of supernatural plot elements. Particularly when a man in a coma appears to Susan Sarandon as though he is alive, and he helps her cope with depression. She had lost her baby and was alone with a mother who has Alzheimers and cannot respond to her. It is a bit of a good twist. Compared by some to A Christmas Carol. The episodes with Penelope Cruz were good, perhaps because she is very beautiful. Paul Walker was good as her jealous boyfriend. Alan Arkin was good as the lonely man who is reacting to the death of his wife, I t hink. Paul Walker, I have heard, was killed practicing a stunt for an action film. If so, it is too bad, really. The film about Christmas without Snow is pretty good too. It has John Houseman and Michael Learned, two popular TV actors from The Waltons and Paper Chase. It seems as though they got a lot of drama into a story about a choir preparing to give Handel's Messiah. Perhaps a bit too much. But it works out. Reminds me of the Swedish film As it is in Heaven about a small town choir in Sweden. As they say near the end of the Snow film, Can't Died in a Cornfield. The two Little Women films did not hold my attention, and I stopped watching very soon. They were in fuzzy B and W, and the dialogue sounded like old Jane Austen films. Tooo much the way of speaking you hear in stage plays. If I try, perhaps I will get into them in future, though.
