Not moisturizing at all. I get at dollar tree. Doesn’t go red though. Good dye. All you need honestly. I do lowlights at home DIY. totally worth it. One box only covers half your head but the color is better than some more expensive brands that turn red. Works for me. The light brown on the photo is my natural hair. It didn’t fade much for me over several months

ive try this hair dye a few yrs ago from a dollar store n i love it cuz it dosent smell that strong the other hair dyes have this strong ammonia smell that i always get sick n start throwing up n sometimes diarrhea n a head aches this ones is light smell i never get sick with this one my favorite

This product performs well for the cost. Definitely smells strong ammonia--best to use outside or in well-ventilated area. The mix is creamy in texture and distributes well through the hair, it's not too thin, I was able to blend it into small strands successfully. I used it to cover greys and to get back to my natural color/cancel out old peroxide-orange tones. It accomplished both!

I visited the local dollar store and saw this for $1.00. I thought it might be a mistake but tried anyway. Well, I was very surprised! It works great. You have to leave it on a bit longer but the coverage and color were wonderful. It does come with gloves but no conditioner which is not a problem. I didn't want to pay for the extras. Hope your local dollar store carries this. Don't be afraid to give it a try.

The absolute worst hair dye I’ve ever used. Left on for over an hour and did not cover the grays & bad smell. There was not enough for even medium length hair. A complete waste of time.
