Well, I survived my trek through Death Valley with temps around 110+. Had my cooling hat, cooling shirt, and UV protection umbrella. All serviced me well. I want to give a special shoutout for this small little bandana- it was the star of the trek. It was really an add on... one more item, but it turned out to be the best. It was lightweight, easy to wet then wring and kept cool for an incredible period of time, longer than my shirt and other clothing and wrapped around my neck. At the end of 40 minutes in the sand dunes, I was able to wipe my face and feel the coolness still there. Small but mighty. Highly recommended for any desert trips.

Love this cooling towel! Holds water longer than other cooling towels I've used. It's easy work with. I start at one corner and roll it diagonally, soak it with cold water and tie it around my neck. There's enough slack that it hangs to around my collar bone. I use it primarily while mowing and working in my yard, and it stays wet/damp for several hours. The material is light and has some stretch to it with a soft, silky feel to it. Washes well and maintains it shape. I bought the classic camo safari and really like it. My 14 year old grandson has even worn it, which speaks to its appeal and versatility. Because of how I wear it, it doesn't bother me that it's printed only on one side, but it could be an issue for others. Overall it does its job and looks good at the same time.

I wore this web on blistering hot days and it definitely helped me stay cool. Around the neck was good. On the head was better. It looks nice. I have no idea if it’s better than just a wet bandana. But it certainly drips less and looks better than standard cotton.

Stylish and excellent quality

I own Coolibar UPF scarves which are top quality and have Levi's cotton bandanas which when folded up provide good protection and both are very durable and machine washable. By comparison this scarf is quite thin and the border stitching isn't tight so this needs to be hand washed even though it says machine wash. The fabric is soft and provides sun protection. Bottom line: for $17 it's fine for your sun protection arsenal but there are more durable options if your budget allows which will last you for years. There's no special "cooling" as advertised: it's polyester with spandex material. Since only one side has a finished pattern you always look like you're wearing something inside out.

My favorite cooling towel. I thought I was a frog togg girl, but then I tried mission. I work outside in a garden center and the mission towel is thinner, but stays wet longer and gets colder than the chilly pad pro alternative. Now I want one in every color! 100% choose this one.

This is even better than anticipated. I followed the instructions, soaked the bandana, wrung it out, then snapped it 3 times (or so). I rolled it up, and put it around my neck. Not only did it stay damp for several hours in the Florida sun & humidity, it actually kept me comfortable all day. I was very impressed. Additional bonus is it keeps the intense sun off my neck and upper back without needing sunscreen, when I tie it looser. Very light and soft material, and colors didn’t bleed at all, and are very vibrant. I really like this and would buy it again.
