Does it got heating issue/get as hot as those old metal one?

It gets quite warm when you transfer files to it. Mine got very hot as I was transferring close to 95% of it's rated capacity...which took 6 hours to do. After it got so hot, slowing down to a crawl, then stopping for a minute before restarting I did get all my files on it. But, then it started losing the files. Lose a file, put it back, lose another, until it eventually lost 25% or so of my files and wouldn't take a transfer of them back without losing as much as I was putting on it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it for use for anything close to what they rate it. You'll lose files and burn your finger if you try.

Does it fit easily in a usb port (or is it really tight - the shell on the end that inserts into usb looks pretty thick in the photos) ?

My 128gb version was an abnormally tight fit causing the housing that inserts into any device to break. It has always run hotter than full size USB's when after 10 months it eventually failed.

Does it get hot when you're just playing music off of it? Want to use it in my car's usb port.

I find these drive's get hot only when writing to them, but just get warm when reading from them.
