This is not a reflection of the seller.The C2 is a dangerous piece of junk. any positive reviews are from people who have owned the C2 less than a few months. How often do you actually need to use a taser gun? Hopefully never. When you actually need to use C2, when you attempt to fire it in an emergency situation, IT WILL NOT WORK, IT WILL NOT FIRE.The manufacturer says the battery has a shelf life of 5+ years, however, what they do not tell you is that after the battery is installed in the C2, there is a trickle that makes the C2 dead in a few months. DEAD. You will pull it out in a critical situation and nothing will happen.The battery and the unit is NOT RECHARGEABLE. You need to replace the $50 battery (if you can remember) every 3 to 5 months or the unit will not work.I threw mine away after it did not work in a dangerous situation. Buy a unit, any unit, that is rechargeable instead, for your own safety.

Plastic tab holding the battery in place somehow broke, causing the battery to fall lose. This happened while the taser was stored in it's carrying holster, in a isolated compartment in my purse. Luckily I discovered this safely in my home, and not in a dangerous situation when I needed it. If this product can't hold up to being stored in a woman purse, there is a problem... Especially at this price. If I had spent 100 bucks, I could understand, I guess.

I've had my C2 for 5 plus years, test fired 8 cartridges, used the flashlight countless times, and demonstrated the stun feature literally hundreds of times and my battery is just now showing signs of weakening, AFTER MORE THAN FIVE YEARS!!!! This is a great product and if the previous reviewer threw their's away that's enough of a reason to not take his\her review seriously! The C2 has a battery life indicator light on it so you would never be surprised by a dead battery, that is if you're smart enough to read the instructions and know what the light means! If you want to feel safe but don't want to have shoot someone this is the product for you. Great company and great customer support. I have many weapons and was a weapons specialist in the military and therefore feel like I have a little knowledge in this arena!

Our family had multiple TASER devices and have never had a problem with any of them. I have personally used a TASER device to incapacitate an individual and it worked perfectly.
