They are bolts
I pulled the bed off my truck to do the fuel tank cross members. I don't like reusing bolts that are rusted and these worked great. Couple were little tight to get in place, might be due to bed placement from me putting the bed back on the truck with a cherry picker for a helper

Not a replacement for 99-06 hinge bolts
Didn't work for 99-06 GM hinges. None of the hinge kits seem to come with the hardware. You'll need something like an M8 1.0 hex bolt.
