Wilton Gold Non-Stick Donut Pan Set, Made Without PFAS, 2-Piece

The Wilton Non-Stick 6-Cavity Donut Baking pans, 2 count made a beginner look like a Pro! I couldn't be happier. I read many reviews about pans versus silicone, as well as the individual pan manufacturers. From what I read, I chose to go with a heavier metal pan for the longevity of quality use it has provided to many bakers. Next, I chose the 6-Cavity pans (set of 2) instead of the large, bulky 12-cavity pan others were offering. I felt it would be (like many specialty pans) bulky to store and I am short of space. **The Wilton set of 2 'spoon' together nicely, and have a low profile to start with. Since I purchased the "half" pans, they will be much easier to store requiring less real estate, so to speak. Next, it was important to me to have a Non-Stick surface, and not made of a teflon style of coating. Many offered it the slick coating I was searching for, but none were the grand slam like Wilton. Wilton provided the heavier metal I wanted as an heirloom piece. The compact set was designed for ease of storage. The premium slick surface checked the last box on my wishlist. Amazon's Prime next day delivery meant that I was making my very first batch of donuts on sunday night rather than the next weekend. I was a bit worried about how the dough looked, how much shortening to use to grease the pans, and how long to leave them in the oven. In the end, these donuts baked themselves perfectly. When pulled from the oven, I inverted the donuts onto a cooling rack in order for them to cool enough to handle taking a quick dunk in melted butter and onto the Sugar Shower. The donuts literally fell off the pan. Not a morsel remained on the pan. Several reviews said they had tried with and without greasing the pan before adding the donut dough. All said it seemed to make no difference and one said it may even be better WITHOUT greasing the pan. I greased the pan and am in love with the results. The Wilton Non-Stick 6-Cavity Donut Baking Pans, 2-count are my happiest bakeware purchase in a long time. I wholeheartedly recommend them! Making the dough was surprisingly easy. Filling the pan was easy, too. there is a high spot in the center of each cavity, making each cavity look like mini bundt cakes. The dough rose and filled the cavity perfectly, and did not spread onto the top of the pan. I thought the cavity depth , size and shape were perfect! These are considered Average or Medium, versus Mini or Small, and Jumbo or Large.

These work beautifully! I mixed 1 cake mix with 1 cup of apple sauce and piped it into the pans. Made luscious strawberry donuts and dipped them into frosting glaze. Granddaughter gobbled down two immediately. I’m making chocolate ones next time. Really quite fun to make your own. Very nonstick. Even baking. Easy clean cause nothing sticks. Love these. Fast shipping. Seem pretty durable too. 🍩

Love these pans, I made apple cider donuts in them and they were great! I sprayed the pans so the donuts wouldn’t stick and the donuts fell right out. They also wash up well. Highly recommend these pans to any baker. Looking forward to finding more recipes for baked donuts.

I like cooking breakfast, but let's be honest - pancakes can be kind of annoying because if you aren't just right on the timing then BOOM - they are burnt! So I saw these pans and here is the great thing: you make a pancake mix and the pans do all the work. I can throw it in the oven (375 degrees for 10 minutes) and they come out perfectly! Nothing is burnt and they are super light and fluffy! My kids customized each one with things like chocolate chips, blueberries, oats, sprinkles. They were pretty and tasty! I made mine with some nuts and oats and strawberries on top. Just fill them 3/4 full. I also used a little butter spray. Clean up is easy too because there is no residue when you pop them out. Nice invention.

Gives a regular size donut and the shape is perfect. I generously grease the pan and It does not stick thus baked donuts came out clean, held its shape and easy to remove. Comes with 2 pcs pans which is filled with one donut recipe, enough treat for the family. It came early in time for the halloween and we enjoyed our spidey cinnamon donuts. Looking forward to bake more donuts with these pans. Highly recommended.
