New to the game well this set is perfect for just starting out. Easy for my 11yr old and my 18 yr old

In the moderate weight range of 150g-160g, these are great for adult beginners. Once you learn the throwing techniques you may naturally move up to heavier 170g+ discs.This is the second "beginner" disc set that I bought. I had first bought a heavier set, but after further reading decided to get this set from Latitude 64. I'm glad I did. The discs I received were Ruby (155g), Pearl (157g), and Diamond (157g).The Ruby and Pearl are the first discs that I was able to throw with any distance. After a couple of months now, the Diamond is my go-to off the tee. I've even bought a second Diamond in a more durable plastic. I still throw my first Diamond, but it now has a number of notches from hitting trees. You will hit trees. Some trees don't seem to mind, but other trees will toss your disc into the creek.The Retro (DX) plastic is the least durable plastic used in the sport, but it is common for beginner sets to keep the cost down. Don't let that stop you. Retro (DX) plastic is also often preferred for putters and in cold weather since it is a bit grippier than more durable plastics.As for the colors, they do vary as indicated. I ended up with a gray Ruby, pastel blue Pearl, and pastel orange Diamond. Don't fret the colors...just hope that you get the brightest colors available. I'll take a visible pink disk over green or black any day. I typically buy yellow now. It's uncanny how effectively discs can hide in even moderate brush or in the dimming evening light. Until I can throw with reliable accuracy I'll pick colors I can find!Enjoy the game...it's a lot of fun.

These are the only disc golf discs suitable for kids under 12 years of age, in my opinion. The rim size, weight and stability of each of these is specifically engineered to maximize the potential of players with slow arm speeds and smaller hands. You absolutely will not find better discs for children. Period.The only downside of this particular set is the plastic is not very durable at all, but Latitude 64 makes these same discs in the Opto plastic when your young one is ready to upgrade.You don't get to pick your desired disc colors, if that matters. It shouldn't but some people like to leave whiny 1 star reviews because they didn't get the colors they wanted.Bottom line, if you have a youngster that is interested in disc golf then get them this set and the recruit shoulder bag from Dynamic Discs. You won't regret it.

Great beginner set in terms of flight . Easy to throw is always relative in terms of players ability , altitude you play , and conditions(wind). Has improved my wife’s ability to play our local beginner friendly course . She is getting near 200 ft out of the Mid-Range , but doesn’t have enough power to throw the diamond. Got her first even par round ever with the help of this pack . Plastic is not the most durable but grippy and “easy to throw” Great place to start for $20 dollars delivered to your door next day in my area.

I liked the discs and they seemed to do great for my GF whom I purchased them for. The colors were fine (Red White and Blue) but the plastic is terrible. It's soft and sticky and dense. I fear that one solid collision at max speed with a palm tree would make a significant gouge in the disc. I loved the discs and will be purchasing another set in good plastics.

These are quality discs. The plastic won't be the most durable, but they are going to break in well and last a long time. They are lighter in weight which is good for a lot of beginners. All three were in the 156 to 158 gram range.They also look sweet. I bought these for my wife and she loved the look of them. Can't wait to see her throw them.

I got these for my sister, who has just been getting into disc golf. All of these discs are easy for beginners to throw, and even though they get beat up really quickly, that's expected from baseline plastic. Other reviewers have stated that they did not get the color advertised, but for me, the product title does say that stamp color will vary, so maybe DD added that after those previous orders.

Pedí este pack de principiantes para un amigo que deseaba empezar a jugar a disc golf. Estos discos son buenos para iniciarse, ligeros y de fácil uso, fabricados por la reconocida casa Latitude 64. Precio más que competente pero es una lástima no poder elegir los colores ya que el color negro u otros colores muy apagados no son deseables a la hora de buscar un disco en mitad de un bosque, yo personalmente tuve bastante suerte y me llegaron en amarillo, azul claro y rojo.
