This be pillow is soft but firm. It packs up small. I like the weighty feel of it. It is small, but feels like a full size pillow. I would buy another in the future

The Klymit Drift Camping Pillow (travel size) is an excellent product and has quickly become a favorite in our house. We bought four of them, and they were incredibly easy to open and use right out of the package. The size is perfect for long car rides and even better for camping trips, compact, comfortable, and super convenient to pack. My kids love these pillows so much that they actually keep them in their bedrooms now, and they’ve become part of their regular bedding! So comfortable! This pillow is fought over between my kids when we camp! I originally bought it for backpacking with my daughter but this pillow has too much weight to take backpacking. So keep this one to just camping!

Pillow is fine. I ordered this as a new product but when it arrived, I could tell it had been opened and the the fact that the compression strap(which should have been included) was missing, confirmed this. I have been receiving packages that are supposed to be new but have been opened and/ or used. Amazon is good at taking and giving out a refund, but I am tired of having to go through the return process once again for items that are supposed to be new. Then Amazon says it will give a partial refund if you do not want to send it back, but when I try and do that, it says it is against their policy. Product seems great but I am tired of playing the run around and talk to Alexa. Sorry Klimt but this was my only option left thanks to Amazon. Buyers beware of ordering new and receiving opened and/or used products which seemed to be happening frequently!

The two of us own total of 6 of these in 2 sizes for house, boat, camper. I do wish for an actual traditional pillow protector for allergy prone. The slick cover option it’s made with is not comfortable by itself to sleep on or that would have solved the allergy concerns. Very comfy otherwise. Priced to high side.

I got this thing to upgrade the camping pillow I have used for years, which worked better when I was less of a stiff old codger. This has good support for a side sleeper, and the construction is brilliant. It’s not immediately obvious how to change from the protective cover which keeps the pillow from getting grubby while traveling, and the soft jersey sleeping pillowcase, both of which are attached at the same time; search for a video, and you’ll figure it out in a few seconds. Mine gets rolled right up inside an Australian swag tent, so I won’t bother changing it over anyway, and I found some Cocoon cotton/silk pillowcases that fit perfectly, and were getting blown out because Cocoon isn’t selling the model pillow that the cases were built for in the US any more. Although I’m not generally a fan of chopped memory foam as a pillow filling, I find this to be a very comfortable small pillow.

I ordered the regular size and at first I was a little disappointed in the size. Mostly the height of the pillow. It wasn’t tall enough to support my head the way I like. I’ve been through a few inflatable pillows and never found them particularly comfortable. I could get the height dialed in, but they never felt soft enough fully inflated. I had a eureka moment. Friends, I have cracked the pillow code and in so doing solved a camping problem that has plagued me for decades. I went through the linen closet and found a narrow pillow case, one that could accommodate both the klymit and a slightly larger inflatable. Placing the inflatable underneath allowed me to dial in the perfect height. The klymit is so soft and comfortable on top, it feels great. If I fully inflate, I can actually sit up comfortably enough to read and when I’m ready to sleep, I simply let some air escape. It’s perfect. The pillow case is snug enough to keep them together through the night and I never wake up to readjust anything. Everything packs down nice in my dry bag. This hack moved the pillow from 3 to 5 stars. I’ll be using this combo the rest of my canoe camping career.

As a big fan of “wild glamping”, or comfort paired with minimalism, this pillow provides an unrivalled level of comfort for the price. Moving from the pricier, but highly esteemed Kilo Gear’s pillow to this has been night and day. It is intuitive and is ideal for wild camping. Just be aware that the small size is more than enough for camping; it is still a large pillow and has not been explicitly designed for hiking/camping. Place the bag in the bottom of your bergan/hiking bag and it will compress better than some inflatable pillows. The built-in waterproof cover is genius and helps keep your pillow clean and dry during transit. Strongly recommend.

Hard to tell when buying online, but this pillow was quite chunky. It was bigger than my sleeping bag.

I was unsure about whether to get the full size pillow or the small. I ended up opting for the small pillow to keep pack weight down. I was not disappointed. For such a small pillow, this makes camping so much more enjoyable. Lovely soft but supportive feel from the internal foam and the cotton case is so comfortable. Transforms into a tough shell for water resistance and to keep cotton cover clean. Obviously this takes up more space than an inflatable pillow in a back pack but the comfort is more than worth the sacrifice of the space. If I had bought the full size pillow, I think there would be a good chance of me using it in bed all the time.
