Loads of colours for when you just want a contrast but can't be bothered mixing your own. For the price the quality is good and they cover well. You do get 3 tubes of white, but actually that is very helpful .

I bought this product for myself and absolutely loved it! Colors were of a good amount per tube and vibrant on canvas, paint did not dry up quickly, and great package to gift to any art lover.

These were incredible value , in terms of range of colours for your money. However, I am painting backgrounds then trying to paint detail over them, and I am having problems. The paint seems to dry very fast, leaving a mat finish, with no sheen at all. When I try to paint over them, the background paint is coming off and mixing with what I am trying to paint over the top and this is horrible.I also noticed what seemed to be dry paint coming off on my hands when I handled it. This is not the behaviour I am used to when using Winsor Newton oil paints. (Update - It seems the paint looks dry long before it actually is. After waiting long enough this actually dried fully and was just fine.)I think I might be better sticking to WN paint or risk wasting time and ruining my paintings. Where a poor workman blames his tools, I think it is also good for a beginner to work with good quality materials to avoid this concern.For paint to try out and have a go with I think these are excellent value for money. If these had been my only paints, I am sure I would have been very happy with them. Mixing paint manufacturers is probably a mistake ( for a beginner ).

Great set for a hobby painter. The paint dries too fast, it's easy to mix but it's definitely not artist quality.
