Cheese Board with Ramekins

I gave this board as a hostess gift. My cousin loved it. It’s very heavy and well-made. It’s a nice size as well. I like the fact that it came with small dishes. Most boards do not include these. If you’re looking for a lovely house- warming gift or a hostess gift, look no further. I like the board so much, I plan on buying one for myself.

This was a gift for a friend but the day after she received it she sent me a picture as she was having friends over. She loved it and loved that it came with the cheese knives which made it so easy and elegant with the various cheeses in her spread. She had wanted one for a long time! This board makes an impressive display of cheeses, meats, and toppings for entertaining. There are 3 small, white dishes for olives or any accompaniments as well as 'wells' in the board to hold crackers & such. The pullout drawer holds cheese knives for spreading cheese or toppings. The board is sort of medium sized so works well for most gatherings. I bought 5 boards total- four were given as gifts & I kept one for myself.

This cheese board adds a gracious touch to any outdoor or indoor gathering. Just add a mix of cheeses, grapes or berries, and crackers, and it's easy to get the party started. The three inserts are great for jams/jellies, nuts, olives or marinated peppers or other veggies. The serving tools provided work great for cheese and fruit. Please note, you'll likely need to provide your own serving utensils for the three inserts. After washing and drying the board by hand, I keep the wood in good shape by treating it with a drop of food-safe polish made with beeswax and mineral oil. After our long isolation due to the public health emergency, I bought this cute cheese board to help me ease back into social activities with vaccinated friends. Sometimes a little "retail therapy" is just the right thing.
