WalkHero Men's Sandals Flip Flops Orthotic Arch Support Soft Cushioning

This is my first 5-star review where I returned the product! Why? The sandals are well made, not flimsy, and are comfortable and have good arch support. However they don't have the same heel cup that the other popular ones (with the words Power and Step in the name) have and that made my plantar fasciitis (PF) worse. I was hoping I could wear these since they cost less than half of the other ones but alas even after almost 3 weeks they still hurt. So if you have PF I definitely recommend these since each PF is different and they may work for you.

Update: Don’t buy black or coffee. Only buy the grey colored sandals. After 4 pairs, I can confidently say they run a little large, so consider buying a size down especially if you’re between sizes. I liked my first pair so much, I bought the black and coffee colors too. HOWEVER, both the black and coffee pairs wore out within a matter of a couple months. The foam compressed to the shape of my feet and no longer provide any support. The year plus old grey pair (my first pair) have held up great in terms for firmness and shape retention. So I bought another pair of greys (half size down from my shoe size) and clearly the grey foam is a higher quality than the black foam that’s used on the other colors. My review will remain at 5 stars, but only for they grey colored sandals. These remain the best sandals I have ever bought. Black and coffee: 1 star. Original Review: As a long time sufferer of PF, I have a hard time finding good footwear. I always take a pair of orthopedic inserts with me when I go shoe shopping, and only look at shoes that have removable (or lightly glued) insoles so I know how they feel when I have my insoles in. It’s time consuming and more often miss than hit, but it works - I find a pair that I like, then usually just keep buying the same pair as I wear them out. I don’t have that option with sandals. Most of the sandals I find in stores are as topographically featureless as an ikea flat pack furniture box, and about as comfortable. These Walk Hero sandals are everything I want. The multi-layer foam provides a lot of cushion for impact absorption, The fabric toe strap is comfortable, and the arch supports look comically tall, but I can spend all day in these without the pain and fatigue I normally get from wearing other sandals. After several months, I can see the top layer of foam starting to wear a little under the outboard ball of my foot (where most of my weight goes) so they might not last more than a year or two, but that may be due to the fact that they felt about a half size too large. Either way, I don’t mind buying another pair, but I’ll likely try one size down.

Could be a five star. They're nice and comfortable. The only thing that keeps them from getting a higher rating is that the top layer of the flop where your foot rests attracts every bit of human or pet hair or grit from your floor. We vacuum everyday but these seem to attract everything else, and then some. The only way to remove the buildup is to use a damp cloth and scrub. I wore these around the house for the first time yesterday for 2 or 3 hours and had to clean them three different times.

High quality flip flops, Soft and support the feet arches. Recommended!

I got these in a size 13 which is approximately the size I wear in shoes depending on brand. The length of the fit is fine, my whole foot fits. The sides however are a bit narrow and while my foot "fits" it feels a bit of overhang, really need like another inch of width and it would be perfect fit wise. These have a very noticeable arch support. If you have ever used an orthotic made by a foot doctor you know they feel like you have a rock under your foot the first time you wear them, especially if you are like me and have very flat feet. The feel is kinda the same but not so extreme but if you have flat feet that's a good thing. So the arch support is very noticeable. I got this to mainly wear around the house since I have hardwood floors and walking barefoot all the time with flat feet tends to cause pain overtime. The only thing I don't know is the durability of these and only time will tell. If they wear out quickly I will probably update this review. I give it a 4 overall mainly cause I wish they had some wide sizes. Update: unfortunately the narrowness got to be too much and it was difficult to walk wearing these. Have to return them. Probably works fine for some folks but not for me.

They last at least three years before the strap broke. It made trips to the beach easy because I could wear flip flops like a normal person at the beach while being able to walk the harbor shops without arch pain. The straps are awesome too because they don't dig into your feet like thinner straps. These may be fore men but they're neutral enough that I was able to paid them with a sun dress and still look cute. Size down for women. Very much worth the money I paid. I'll happily buy them again .

Highly recommend for high-arched folks

At first these were a little stiff but like any shoe gave it time and the flex came. Have worn these a lot this summer and they are comfortable and offer good support.

Very good arch support and comfortable fit... My flat feet are quite pronounced, making standing for long quite painful. I wear an arch support for my shoes but did not think I could find a slipper with good arch support, but this did it! Very happy with the purchase!
