Using this with a Smart Buddie and have zero complaints and 0 tdi! Came well packaged and with everything needed to install. Instructions were detailed and extremely helpful. Would definitely buy again.

My unit was missing a few parts listed in the description, however the Aquatic Life customer support immediately offered to send them free of charge when I reached out so I give 5 stars for that. Unfortunately I had to return the unit as I found out my city uses chloramines and this unit only works for chlorine, but the build quality was exceptional so I have already purchased the next model up from this company with the included chloramine filtration. Apparently you can purchase a separate chloramine filter to go in line with this unit but I have very limited space where I need to install.

Very nice easy to install RODi system providing purified water for saltwater aquarium. If you want a reef tank, RODI water is a must have requirement!

Produces 1/2 gallon of RO water for 5 gallons of waste water. You will be better off collecting rainwater.——————————————————————This is an update to my original review which was negative because of the tremendous amount of waste water the filter was generating for a small yield of RO water. Before giving up the system, I decided to play with it and bought a couple of shut off ball valves that I attached to the waste and RO output lines. I then set the shut off valve on the waste water end to a slow drip and the valve on the RO end remained fully open. In this way, I am getting 20 gallons of RO water and wasting only 5 gallons of water. The filter works well this way and I am happy now but still giving 4 stars because I had to figure it out myself.

I purchased this for my aquariums due to hard water from our city. Able to mix this with tap water to meet the parameters for Neocardina Shrimp! Add a Booster to get the most out of the filters!!

I had the RO buddy & it became such a hassle. So many issues! This one however was super easy to set up, moves relatively quick & produces clear water that I can re mineralize. I’m very happy with it. It’s also easy to change the cartridges. It’s perfect for my aquariums. It’s definitely worth the price! I will update after I’ve used it for awhile.
