Earpads for Bose QC35 & QC35 ii - Black

They fit perfectly, are easy to install, and provide the same comfort and durability as Bose’s OEM pads. The product is generally good, with the highlight being the excellent ear pads. Replacing the headband, however, is quite difficult, even for someone with good dexterity. The seller clearly put effort into making the process as easy as possible. The only downside I found with the headband replacement is that the interior leather (the side with the Velcro) is a bit too thick and too short, preventing it from properly reaching the cap with the two screws. The exterior leather, on the other hand, is long enough and can be stretched to cover the adhesive tape and fit neatly under the metal cap, giving it a very nice finished look. A small observation: I’m not sure why the kit included two screwdrivers, but I kept the larger one because it’s actually quite good quality. Overall, the seller did their best to make the headband replacement process as easy as possible. Could it be improved? I strongly believe it can, though probably not at this price point. My suggestion would be to extend the leather on the Velcro side by just a few extra millimeters so customers can tuck it under the metal cap for a cleaner finish, similar to the outside of the headband.

Updated review (2023): After 24 months of daily use, one of these replacement cushions failed in the same way the Bose originals did. So they last about the same as the "genuine part". I've bought this item again and can keep continue using my QC35 IIs. The firm at first cushions soften up after a few weeks, and are perfectly comfortable. As they soften, they fit, and isolate noise better too. My concerns about the scrimpads were also premature. No dust or debris gets through. Original review (2021): Having failed miserably at buying the genuine part from Bose, as they can build advanced headphones but not a web shop that works, I've given these aftermarket cushions a try. Replacement on the QC35 II is absolutely trivial. Ten minutes tops. A few clips hold the pad to the chassis. Pull it to the inside, and up, and off they go. Fit in reverse order. The attached tool helps with taking the pads out, and seating the new ones well. So that's the good part. Now the not so good: - The pads are slightly firmer than the Bose ones and, as others have said, noise cancellation and sound isolation is affected; it's like you'd go from high NC to somewhere between high and mid NC on the originals. Can't say they are any less comfortable though. - The attached scrimpads (inner liner) have a less dense weave than the Bose ones, and are likely to allow more dust and debris to reach the drivers; I've left the originals on. All in all, 90% of value, at 50% cost. Let's hope they'll last longer than 24 months of light use, which the Bose pads didn't.

Don’t bother with the instructions or little tool and just glue them on and they’re brilliant. Great value and nice quality.

With the tool provided, I can easily install it my self within 10 minutes. The quality is good and the color is exactly the same as the original, now my Bose Quiet Comfort looks like new. Highly recommended!

These are a really good quality product, I use the Bose for an hour a day and I last renewed them with the identical product nearly four years ago. Fitting is straightforward and the pads fit with a very satisfying “click” A far easier task than fitting a new battery that I did yesterday.
