GI - Great!
Great GI issue holster for your M9. Very secure, top quality. Too big for a 1911 but a M9 / M9A1 / Beretta 92 fits nice and snug as a bug in a rug.

Great Field Holster that is Versatile.
I purchased this holster for my Glock .40 S&W G22 Gen 5 and it fits just right. These holsters are the same great quality that were issued out when I was in the US Air Force Security Forces. Anyone looking for a field holster to protect your handgun this is the best out there and it's versatile to fit several types of handguns. This holster keeps the barrel clean and protects debris from getting into the holster. There is a reason why these holsters were issued out for so many decades and still used today. Keep in mind, this isn't a quick draw holster but a field holster to protect and secure your handgun when you need to rely on it. I will be using this holster for many outdoor trips in the years to come.

Exactly what I hoped for!
This holster fits perfectly for my M&P standard model and as well as the longer Core model (I have both)l. Incidentally, my wife insisted that I get one for her as well -- I am one of those fortunate men whose wife is a shooter! Our use will be for when open carrying on outdoor activities, particularly when playing with our side-by-side ATV. Some reviews mention that the opening over the trigger guard might allow crud to get in. We suspect that we might get a little dust, but nothing like an open-style holster. As far as mud, etc., it should stay clean unless you were crawling on your back. It has slots for dress belt wear, plus a clip for wearing over any style web or large belts. It is comfortable and reasonably accessible for an enclosed holster. It is a fine product and all I had hoped for.

The M12 works for my Glock 17 and 26
I use the M12 for my Glock 17 and 26 when I am running my ALICE gear for tactical three gun shoots in the winter. The holster effectively secures a full-frame Glock and a Compact frame Glock with no issues. I have never had a retention issue even when traveling by ATV over rough ground. The M12 holster if a "flap" holster has is not intended for "fast" drawing of your pistol. This holster is very effective at safely storing your pistol on your person when carrying out in the open. I have my M12 attached to the pistol belt of my ALICE gear, but the holster will effectively attach to any size belt.

Very good quality, holds most med. and lrg. Frame autos
I have always been a fan of this holster. It works well for my 1911's, Sig P-220 and also has no problems securing my Glock 17/22 and 21. For trail carry it fits my needs well- just remember it is designed to securely carry/protect a sidearm and is not very good for fast tactical draw (with the full flap attached/secured).

As advertised, Used but in great shape
I ordered 2 of these used holsters. The first arrived 4 days after the order, the second a week later. Both holsters were sold as used and there were a few indicators that they were indeed used. The color of both holsters was a little faded when compared against a new & unused one and they both had small amounts of paint scrapped off of the belt clips. This is normal for a used holster. One of them had a small amount of red dirt caked in a stitching seam which reminded me of my days crawling in the mud when actually worked for a living. The other one had what appeared to be a name written inside the flap and again inside the body. These things are only cosmetic and do not effect the usage of the holsters, in fact; they indicated that they were used as advertised. I found no evidence that they had been abused and no damage on either one of them. The belt fasteners, flap fastener and cleaning rod snap were all functional. I thought these were a good deal since they were about half the price of most new ones and they are in almost new condition.

Practical not tactical
I love this holster. While it's not the most tactical looking holster, I use this far more than any other Blackhawk, safariland, or the numerous other Kydex holsters I have. Because of the simple design, I can fit all of my handguns (glock 19, xd9c, beretta 92/92a1, Para 1911, Bulgarian Makarov, three different Ruger revolvers) in it without changing any straps or buckles or anything like that. The flap looks a little silly sometimes but I have the fullest confidence that whatever gun I put in there is secured and protected.

Not a speed draw holster
If your looking for speed draws, this ain't it. If you want your side arm to stay in the holster over long movements this holster is probably more suitable. This is a retro type holster. Are there better ones out there? Sure. Does this one fit the need intended? Yes.
