Does it have a single or double traction rope?

It has a single plastic strap, which is not as comfortable as a band or rope. I use weightlifting gloves with mine to overcome this.

Does it come with instructions

Hi yes all 65 pages of it! I have had the original in the past (20 years ago with no manual it came with a wall poster). But even I have been supprised at how many different exercises you can do with it. Also apprently you can adjust the spring level depending on how strong you are (not done it myself) so as you get stronger you can increase the resistance its an ace piece of kit to be fair. Mike
