Leaf Hydrox America's Original Cookie, 8.6 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I tried these for the first time in 2024 and I was very impressed. More flavorful than Oreos and, based on the ingredients, a much better option. Will purchase more once they are available again.

Excellent cookies. The wait was super worth it and brings me back to my childhood. That and it tastes like actual food...not depression like that "other" cookie we know.

OMG! I have waited years from my favorite cookie to return to the marketplace! I ordered these on December 30, 2024 and they just arrived today March 5, 2025. Originally they told me it would take a month for delivery and then when that month came, Amazon said it wasn't ready yet that I would have to wait another month which I didn't mind doing so long as I finally got my favorite cookie! Upon receiving, I immediately opened them up and sat down with a tall glass of cold milk and polished off about 10 cookies. They are smaller in size that I remember, but they have the same great crunchy cookie and creamy filling! They are absolutely delicious, just like I remember! I hope that production can ramp up on the manufacturers end and that Amazon will allow for more product to be in their pipeline because I wouldn't want to have to wait another couple of months to be able to order! Although with this order, I ordered 6 packages of cookies, so I'll have enough to last me a little while! (just a little) But please Amazon start allowing this manufacturer to have more product in your facilities. And to the manufacturer, LEAF, please start ramping up production. Hyrox is back, baby! Yum, Yum!

Excellent. So much better than Oreo’s and non GMO. Our 6 boys love them and we all agree they are much better than oreo’s

I very much prefer the taste of these over Oreo, as I've purchased several cases over the last few years. However, 1 major drawback is the lack of a resealable packaging. Not only do I pay more for these than a package of Oreos (even when ordered in a case), but I also have to use a Ziploc bag to keep the cookies from going stale, which is mildly annoying. I'd love to see Hydrox make a comeback & be able to compete directly with Oreo again, but the packaging is one of the things that Oreo has over Hydrox at the moment.

I don't know if these are exactly like the ones that were in my childhood dinosaur lunch box or not. I can barely remember how things tasted last week, neverminded 35 years ago when my tastebuds were far more sensitive.So many cookies from the store have no texture now, they're just mush. Not sure how that came about, but Hydrox does not have this problem. The wafers actually taste like something (chocolate!!!) and have a pleasant crunch to them. Yes, they don't soke up milk like a sponge...because they are not the consistency of a sponge. I'd rather have the crunch.The filling is solid and like the wafers is not astronomically sweet like most others on the shelf. You can also parse out the flavor of the filling from the cookie while eating it, can't say that about the others either.Now, they are still cookies and are still sweet, not a "healthy alternative" at all. Cane sugar is the first ingredient after all. But, they don't have six different kinds of corn sweeteners in them that make them taste like compressed hummingbird food that leaves a horrible residue in your mouth either.I wish they were available in stores, its my only complaint as buying a case just for me is pretty nutty. But, once a year I splurge and freeze most of them. They freeze well and its doesn't impact the experience at all. Highly recommended.

As good as I remembered. I was never a fan of the "other" sandwich cookie because Hydrox was always my favorite. When I could no longer find Hydrox I stopped eating chocolate sandwich cookies. I'm go glad to have them back. There appears to be more filling than I remember or it's just globbed on and not spread out as much. Either way, they taste great. Admittedly, they are a little pricey. Not sure if the packaging is good enough because a lot of the cookies came broken. Which is OK. The crumbs taste the same as a whole cookie. I wasn't going to let anything go to waste
