I got a hard copy in addition to Kindle so I can highlight and fold pages in this handy survival guide (you will want to refer back to it for ample online resources it details). Its a good balance of provocative motivation to achieve (challenge/encouragement to stand out and be noticed, to ask specifically for what you seek) and practical new "hard realities" of career advancement that everyone needs to embrace and adapt to when hunting the next big opportunity where your skills can add value to your employer and/or your clients and you can best enjoy a fulfilling career aligned to your professional passion to be a top performer. I am actively job hunting and needed a kick start to my campaign, I bought this along with a number of other recommendations available on Amazon. However this is far the best of the bunch, it is light hearted, compulsive reading and provides you with everything you will need to secure that new job. Use the email link available in the text to access a range of resources from templates to flow charts that will really make your hunting systematic, productive and not such a drag. All in all a great resource and provides access to a great deal of additional free online resources. So buy it and start building your online profile.

Great book, good tips. There are a lot of great professionals, but who can not sell and promote their skills and experience properly. This book gives the entire path of job hunting process for all levels of professionals.

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK.I am a black lady in my thirties, living in London with a full-time job in Retail. Since last year I have been trying to make a career change to Data Analytics, edit my CV, LinkedIn profile, be positive and put myself out there. However after being out of the job hunting game for nearly 3 years it has been a struggle. A few chapters of the 2.0 version was given to me by my Mentor – I finished them so quickly, bought the updated 3.0 version eBook for me and my Husband, a Teacher.I wish I had this book 10 years ago. David and Jay write in such a down-to-earth, personable and REAL way that makes the information accessible and easy to digest. Everything from Social Media to Salary Negotiation is covered. This is not another motivational job hunting book. This book will take you step-by-step through the WHAT, HOW, WHY to stand out and stay on top of the competition and in-control of the jobhunting process. Control is crucial. Often for me it seems like my fate is left in the hands of gatekeepers and /or the interviewers and I am climbing uphill to desperately convince them to give me the job. I now have the tools to stop that cycle.The main positives of this book (there are a lot more but I have to keep this review at a readable length 😉):• Lots of information, interactive exercises and downloadable resources from the website, examples and War Stories (my favourite- entertaining and educational)• Exclusive Bonus resources for Book readers• Book Length – Not too longThe only negative of this book:• This Guerrilla programme is so extensive, detailed and multi-faceted I believe it is most suited if you have a few months to look for a job or change career because you need to work through the book gradually, change your mindset, social media accounts, CV, Cover Letter and general job hunting strategy. If you are in a desperate ‘I-need-a-job-yesterday’ situation I recommend Chapter 1 -2 and ‘Chapter 6: Resume Writing and Cover Letter Bootcamp’ you can dip into it and get what you want quickly.I will be giving this book to Family and Friends for Birthdays and Christmas and I highly recommended this for everyone. Student/Graduate, Employed, Unemployed, Self-Employed, Career Changer.. we all need to market ourselves and swim in the job market at some point. When you do – have this book in hand and you’ll float above everyone else.

I think the saying "where there's a will there's a way" is the best way to describe this book - it challenges the reader stop and think about their approach to finding work and developing their career.Instead of merely going along with the usual methods of job searching, this book teaches you to how to leverage your skills and experience and think how to best do that for every opportunity you go for. As part of my job for the last few years I have read a lot of job-searching related books, and have to say this is one of the best and most likely to get you enthused.
