I really like this glass nail set. It's nice to have the different sizes. I especially like the larger one which I use to smooth the skin on my heels. And the glass cuticle tool works well too. It is also nice that they each have their own protective case.

My mom hates metal nail files, but she said she wanted some high-quality nail files, and these made for a great gift. She uses them when she's doing her nails and even I sneak to use them sometimes, and they're amazing in every way, shape, and form. They really remove material from the nail - it's very satisfying and they're well made.

These files are fantastic. They are durable and work so well. They aren't too coarse in their grit and can be use for everyday use. I carry one with me all the time. The nail stick is great for pushing cuticles back and buffing away parts of my nails that are peeling and lifting up. Ever since I started using these files, I have been able to get my nails pretty long because the file is the perfect grit for everyday use. In the past I have used emery boards you can get in nearly any store, and I find those don't have the right grit and cause too much damage to my natural nail, and they don't last very long.The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is because it would be good to have this same set in different colors. Also, the nail stick chipped on one end after very limited use and me taking care not use the tool roughly.Overall, I will definitely purchase these files again if I need to (i.e. they break from misuse).

I've ordered many Czech glass file sets from bona fide beauty and love them all. I have also recommended them to many friends and family who have also purchased from bona fide beauty and love them. Outstanding quality products and excellent customer service!This set in particular has a gorgeous color scheme. My favorite in this set, and perhaps of any of my Czech glass files, is the cuticle stick. My nails now always look like I've had them professionally done, and as long as I use this on my cuticles at least every 2-3 weeks, stay in tip-top shape. I'm a nurse so I wash my hands constantly, and this keeps them looking great without ever having to use cuticle nippers (DON'T! It always makes them worse in the long run!). I never get hang nails now either. I won't go without this again, and have ordered backups just in case one gets lost or broken. I keep them everywhere!I should also note that I do my own gel polish manicures and ever since I got this set with the cuticle stick, I can get so close to my cuticles with the polish without touching that my manicure lasts at least 3-4 weeks without lifting or chipping. The point and the edges are so super-fine that I can touch up my cuticles even when my gel polish manicure is on without any fear of scratching or ruining the finish. If you're trying to decide whether to get this...you won't be sorry you did.

I wanted to point out something: Crystal files do not have different grit levels per side. Which is why you have the large one here- to shape and shorten nails, and the smaller ones- to "seal" the nail and do fine shaping work.If you are looking for something that has 2 grits per file- get a double-sided emery board.This set is awesome.The blue cuticle pusher is wonderful. I can really get all of the cuticle pushed away from my grown out nail. I really think this has to do with the grit at the ends.I love the files! The large one really takes down my nails quickly. I work in IT and don't devote a lot of time to my nails. As such, I frequently find myself needing to file my nails down so I can type easier.Sometimes, if they are bad enough, I will start out by trimming a small amount with clippers, but the majority of the time I am just relying on these files so I can better control the length.I keep the small one on me, in my messenger bag, so I can do damage control in case I break something.I really recommend this set. The files have sleeves for basic protection and the cuticle tool has it's own little sealing tube that makes it handy to carry. I love the colors I chose, blue and black, it's beautiful.

They are really good, glass is better than the other sand paper.

Finalmente...dopo avere rotto la mia vecchia lima di vetro, ho cercato per anni una sostituzione, e continuato ad usare i mozziconi rimasti; anche quelle di marca non erano diverse da quelle del mercatino - cioe' pessime.Queste fanno egregiamente il loro lavoro, ed il colore e' stupendo.

This is a lovely set of nail files. I had previously used professional style emery boards - much better than the sandpaper style emery boards - but these crystal nail files knock them into a cocked hat! Very smooth on the nails, yet they help you to file down your nails to a lovely, precise shape very quickly and they feel much less rough than emery boards. Also, the nail edge is neater, and there's little need to file upwards behind the nail to finish any snags.I use the largest file on my big toenails only, with the middle, pointed file on the smaller toenails and fingernails. The tiny file fits neatly into my make up bag so I've got a file for emergencies wherever I go. I have to say, the device for pushing back cuticles seems like a waste to me, as it's not really suitable for that purpose not any other practical purpose. If I were the manufacturers, I wouldn't produce it.The plastic cases protect other items from the coarse filing surfaces of the nail files, but don't protect the files themselves much. If you drop one on a hard floor, it may well break. There is a set by the same sellers that consists of the two smaller files in hard carry cases for extra protection, which I bought so I could keep the small file in the car and the larger file in my desk tidy. But I have another useless cuticle pusher from that set!It remains to be seen how long the filing surface stays effective, but I am cautiously optimistic based on usage so far.

this nail file is brilliant! It does not cause splitting nails. Love and would recommend for everyone.
