Does the job!
Had my doubts about these, but after a couple months they are still holding fast on my full-coverage cable housing conversion on my gravel bike. They are metal, not plastic, so they are very thin and can be bent to fit a wide range of tube shapes/sizes - I have them on the down tube, the chainstay, and even one under the bottom bracket that required re-orienting the bend by 90 degrees. The c-clips that come with them are fiddly to install, but once you get them on there, they stay put.

they are one option, but not the best one
when I mounted a rear brake on my fixed gear, I tested out a couple different methods to secure, or at least 'clean up' my brake cable to my top bar, and these were one. Many reviews have said they are flimsy, and they are. It's not entirely a bad thing- the thin metal bends to fit the diameter of your frame and is thin enough to be pretty low profile on their own, but the 3M foam backing underneath makes them stick up off the frame. The foam doesn't fully cover the bottom (on mine) so there is a bit of an edge all around that will gather crud, and may help them get peeled off sometime (as the tape dries/ages). When new, the foam back is surprisingly tough though, once applied I had to work to get it off. It didn't take the paint off at least, so there is that. Because of the flimsy construction and super-tape, these are NO ADJUSTMENT things and you need to know exactly where you are putting them before you do. Removing them destroys the metal base, period.I didn't find the plastic clips brittle but I did have to break one to get it off.All it took was sticking one on for me to see I didn't like the look of them, even hidden under the bar, they are not pretty or slick or subtle. In the end I went with zip ties underneath a padded top-bar tube, made of black hemp.I suggest if you really do want something like these, you buy them in a larger bulk so that you can make mistakes. There are also several companies that make the clips in colored aluminum to match your bike.

Works inside a fender.
I used these to secure a tail light cable to the inside/underside of the rear fender, so I had to bend them a little more than flat to fit the shape of the inside of the fender. Someone else commented that they couldn't be bent that way, but they are working great!!!

Quality Fix
After years of putting off securing my rear brake cable, I finally took a few minutes to order these stick-on guides. These are about the QUICKEST most clean and simple fix I've seen for an older bike.I positioned the guide slightly off center towards the direction the cable needed to go in order to relieve some ofthe tension the cable would normally pull on the guide. It covered the holes in the frame and looks fine.I'm reserving the 5th star rating for something mind-blowing.

Works great, Used it to route a dropper post
They stick on great to the frame and looks way better than zip ties, I put the dropper post cable under Neath of the top tube, u can only use c-clips with these stick ons, their is no opening in to use small zip tie

Horribly Fragile
The plastic clips are extremely brittle. The metal used for the base is very flimsy. If you purchase these, do not attach the c-clips to the base until you've got the mounts set up on your frame. I broke two of the clips by trying to remove them from the base with just my fingers. I bent a base trying to remove a third. The package only comes with enough materials for 4 cable guides. If you break one of your mounts, you're SOL. These were definitely not worth the $12 I paid for them. Now I need to search for some quality cable mounts to replace these ones! Sheesh.

Still holding after a few months
So I have a PureFix bike to keep at the office and the brakes sucked. Actually the brake sucked because it only had a front brake. So I got these guides to help keep the cable tube in place. All that was necessary was an alcohol swab to clean off any dirt/oil and they stuck right on with no issues. Did exactly what I expected it to do and I would recommend it to anyone looking to add cable tubes.

Keeps cables managed, not restricted.
Price seems a little high until you realize how high the quality is on there. The flexible, stick on base is heavy duty, but not heavy, and the u-shaped piece snaps in brilliantly. Best of all, these provided a cable routing solution which allowed me to use hydraulic disc brakes on a very old frame.

Worked great
Worked great to add an extra "anchor" point on my fork to prevent my brake hose from slapping around. Surface prep is important, and I heated it up with a hairdryer to ensure proper adhesion. Hasn't come off and feels sturdy.
