SINGER 40161 Ball Head Straight Pins in Flower Case, Size 17, 360-Count,

These are a little thicker pin than I was hoping for, but still quite useful and a nice length when I need a slightly shorter straight pin for hand sewing, they don't stick up as far as the ones I had been using and these new Singer straight pins don't get in the way of the needle and thread during hand sewing. I like the size ball tip that is easy to pick up and easy on my old fingers. They are nice and sharp with a smooth shaft that glides right into the fabric. A generous supply and I will buy more of these Singer straight pins again if I should need more. Nice price, too.

As a Decades old seamstress, pins play an integral part in your sewing. 3 years ago, switched to much longer & sharper pins. So sharp, often if I pricked my finger on pin tip, would draw blood, often onto garment I was sewing. Decided to go " back to the basics " with the Standard Shorter Steel Multi Colored Straight Pins. Read many reviews, settled on SINGER 40161 Ball Head Straight Pins in Flower Case, Size 17, 360-Count, very reasonable price, Flower Case is surprisingly very sturdy, easy to open and close, but does not release on its own. Pins are still quite sharp. Have donated my Fancy Long, Extra Sharp Pins...very happy with my purchase

These pins come in a handy container that is fairly solid. If it was up to me I'd have made it a simpler shape like round or square but it's fine the way it is. Also consider the length of pins that are best for you, these will be fine but after seeing them in real life maybe just a bit longer would have been better. They come in a variety of lengths. I'm happy with the quality and price.

Quite convenient. I am glad that I bought them. The length is a little short, but it works fine. I wish that I bought a longer one.

These pins are a little short. I didn't pay attention to how long they were. Also, they aren't super sharp. Sometimes you have to work it a bit to get through just two layers of quilting cotton. I bought them for my 13 year old with her new sewing machine. They work fine for her.

This seemed like the best deal of pins for the money. Some of the pins are broken (the plastic ball has fallen off, or is bent in some weird way) but the vast majority are fine. No issues fitting them into the small container, either. Although I wish the container wasn't shaped like a flower, to be honest.

I got these at a good price, and most of them are fine. However, some of the pins do not have a sharp point and won’t go through my fabric, and the heads of some of them just come right off when I try to pull them out. Probably 15-20% of them are useless.

They get the job done and are very sharp. The container would be better if it were not shaped like a flower. It should be a rectangle. the pins get caught in the outer edges and then it can't snap shut.

Not great pins at all. Very dull and low quality. Wouldn't recommend these for quilting cotton. The drag when pinning is enough to distort the grain. The case is ridiculous too. Not a fan at all. Missed the window of return and don't use them at all.
