This decimator has so many options and features. It’s sometimes a challenge to choose what you want. The great part is once you make your selection, it automatically saves it so you don’t have to keep re-inputting everything every time you use it… even after it’s turned off and unplugged for a while. I use this for live streaming events, connecting a laptop to it with a slideshow to go into our switcher and then out to projectors for the audience to view.

Exactly what I needed. For the money nothing beats it.

Great build quality. Firmware needs some work. Converting 2160p@30 from HDMI to 6g worked intermittently. Had to power cycle many times to get it to actually output even though the display said it was.

This product is rock solid, I love when gear is made from actual metal still. I've used the companies MD-HX for many years. This is another in the line of high quality products. I am primarily using it to convert 4k 60P HMDI signal to 4K 29.97 SDI to input into my Black Magic Switcher. I have black magics version of the cross converter and I definitely prefer the Decimator.
