How to connect on Roku TCL TV!
In order to connect first off, turn on your tv. Step 1: hold top right button label “SetUp” till you see the remote power light on. Step 2: click on button label “TV” if you plan to use it to connect to ROKU TCL TV. Step 3: you have “two” options. You can either input code “2891” press “OK/Enter”. Or you can continuously click the “Power” button while pointing remote at the screen till it turns off your tv. Reason for this is when continuously clicking the power button you’re manually inputting codes until one works for your tv. The shortcut like Netflix/disney etc will not work when inputting code “2891” volume and channel will work. Your Home Screen button will be “Menu” and the actual “home” button doesn’t do anything. Your “back” button will now be the “exit” button. Good luck!

May not work even if your TV is listed
We have a Samsung TV in our living room and none of the codes would work, so I tried the manual code search. The remote's LED light would go off with no response from the TV, so I tried again and again.I went to our Hisense TV in the bedroom to test the steps. It worked within seconds. This co firmed to me that I was completing the steps correctly. I tried the manual code search again on the Samsung TV and no results. The Samsung is the only TV we need the remote for, so this remote is useless for us. I'll be returning this.Hopefully buying something else that isn't so gimmicky will yield better results.

LARGE SIZE - GREAT FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED VISION
I like the fact that it is easy to find because it's so big. (WHY does every manufacturer make their remotes BLACK? They are too easy to misplace!). The buttons are large and easy to see. It was not difficult to program to work with ATT, or DISH NETWORK. Because I have arthritis and it is so large, I basically have to use two hands constantly in order to change the channel. However, if your sight is limited, then it's just a trade-off. My 80 year old Mother loves it and bought six to give as gifts and to have a spare. Nice remote at a good price.

Great remote
The remote is very large but the instructions are so tiny you need a magnifying glass to see them.

Not a true universal remote. Beware
Purchased this remote for parent with macular degeneration. The remote buttons are BIG and visible and they can actually make them out. Programming is not so easy unless you know the codes. The instruction manual is a joke. You need a magnifying glass to read instructions and codes. Better to download the manual from QFX website to access the codes, and yet you still have to zoom in.The biggest negative is this remote is not a true universal remote. While yes you can program up to 8 different devices, there is no feature to control two at once that is the benchmark of universal remotes. You will not be able to control TV and Cable together like most remotes allow. You have to toggle back to TV mode to adjust volume, then toggle back to Cable to control channels.

QFX large remote
I was a little tentative about getting this because of some reviews saying programming the remote was difficult. Well, my 29 year old daughter did it in like 5 minutes. In addition, you do have to get used to the buttonology because it’s slightly different than what your current remote would be for some of the buttons but it’s not hard to figure out. I got this for my husband who has macular degeneration and he loves it. However, it was frustrating at first to get used to what button did what, but after a couple of days, he’s very good at using it. I did not see that this product glows in the dark, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue—if anything, it would be nice for a button that would light up the device but no big deal for him. Overall, we’re very pleased with it (the size of it is quite the conversation starter!).
