AAAHHH! Beware! "Less than 1% Guar Gum" In this size!!
I thought this formula was guar gum free!! I purchased this size because I drink coconut smoothies everyday as one of the other reviewers mentioned. I have milk allergies even to raw milk. I specifically try to avoid guar gum as it's in the "carton milk" versions at the store and I can tolerate it for a few days or so and than it seems to upset my stomach. I had been purchasing the small cans of Natural Value Organic with NO guar gum through Amazon on subscribe and save and then it became unavailable a month later. I am thinking maybe because it's summer?Beware! I thought that because the company went back to it's original formula which was just pure coconut milk, this would be the same. NO.This is how it's listed on the 96 oz cans "pure organic coconut extract, water, organic guar gum (less than 1%)". If there's less than 1% than why is it even needed to begin with? I did see the review that said this size contained guar gum....But I truly thought otherwise since it wasn't listed on the ingredients in the product description. Also, Amazon was going to stop carrying the guar gum formula unless they changed it back to the original, therefore I just assumed it was the original formula. So much for assuming! Maybe they are trying to get rid of the milk that has guar gum included. Either way, we should be informed by the seller (AMAZON) before plunking down money on a bulk size. I am disappointed. Lesson learned. Maybe less than 1% won't be as hard on my stomach as I have experienced in the past.I would say if you aren't sensitive to guar gum go for it, however, far as taste goes, it's definitely not as "coconutty" as the original and thickens up way more (due to the guar gum) than the original. I actually like my smoothies not so thick. I suppose I can use this kind to make hair and body products and in the meantime fork over $2.50-$3 a can or try to hunt down overpriced coconuts...eeeks....no way. Time to get a juicer that can cream coconut into milk. Oooorrrrr.....Amazon!!! Please get the smaller cans back in stock and get the formula information with the company straightened out and/or list it for each specific size!!! Pleeeeaaaase and thank you!

Lowest price for organic coconut milk I've found.
If you go through a good bit of coconut milk for protein shakes, ketogenic diets, or cooking, this is definitely the best value I've found. At about $1.25 for the equivalent of a 13.5 oz. can, it's about half the price of what you would pay for organic coconut milk at a grocery store. And since Amazon delivers to your door, you don't have to lug heavy cans around.Just be aware how much coconut milk is in a can (the cans are actually 99 oz., not 96 oz. as they're shown.), and that coconut milk should be used within a few days after opened. If you're pouring the coconut milk into a bottle, you'll need a funnel or ladle. Otherwise, you're going to spill some of the milk. This coconut milk has a pleasant flavor, and is some of the best I've tried. It does tend to separate a bit, making some of it almost cream-like and other parts watery, but shaking well should prevent the separation.A couple of the cans arrived dented, which did not affect the quality of the coconut milk.A great value for high-quality, organic coconut milk.

Contains Guar Gum
This brand of coconut milk was specifically recommended as the only one sold without guar gum added. That's why I bought it. Upon arrival, I saw it's just like all the other coconut milk on the market - it has guar gum added(which I can't eat). If you're just looking for coconut milk in bulk, this should work fine. If you have special dietary need, don't buy it.

Not as creamy as when it came from Thailand
I started using this product when it came from Thailand. Now it comes from the Phillipines and doesn't seem to be as creamy. But I like the fact that the ingredients are Coconut Milk and water. No additives.

Guar gum and bpa cans.
The description did not mention the guar gum. I am looking for pure coconut milk because guar gum makes me nauseous. BPA causes birth defects and all kinds of endocrine problems. What is the point of buying organic when it is contaminated with BPA? Natural Value does have an organic coconut milk product that is free of additives like guar gum and is in a BPA free can, but this isn't it! Buyer beware. Thanks for reading, I hope this review was useful.
