No, they are not fried, these noodles are great by the way, I use them for cleaning out my fridge for home made ramen, very good.

I don't know the difference in taste between the ones with Japanese words but the box that I have says "Made in Japan". They are distributed in the US.

Q: is pictured product (umami tonkatsu) correct, or will product be the artificial tonkatsu?

I received the artificial tonkatsu flavor and I feel duped!!
