I just tried to use the scoop for chocolate chip cookie dough and it immediately broke. What a waste.

Mislabeled and representative of it's actual size! Manufacture labeled the box as a Size 10 and it was listed as a Size 10 disher scoop! However, upon arrival it also was printed on the box that it is only a 3 1/4 oz scoop... how can this be as a 3 1/4 oz scoop is a Size 12 and not a Size 10, as a Size 10 is 3 3/4 oz.

This literally broke the first time we used it

If you scoop thick cookie dough the thumb compression plate and spring cause the unit to fly apart.

Works well initially but wash it or drop it it falls apart

Bought this to make giant cookies with. Let's just say it didn't make it through a batch before it broke. Just simple peanut butter cookies, no add-ins. Does no one make a good scooper? I don't see how this would hold up for hard, frozen icecream. Smh. It would be amazing if companies would put just a little bit more money into quality instead of pushing out junk that gets tossed after being used for minutes. They wonder why our landfills are over flowing and people throw everything away. We're living in a minimum use world where nothing is made to last. Quantity over quality. Smh.
