I usually use blue loctite, but I had some trouble with smaller fasteners stripping so I figured I would try this. It works great! Gives just the right amount of hold to keep screws from backing out and they’re easily removed with a tool.

I wish I knew this product existed a couple of years ago. I have been using the blue Loctite on my RC cars and often times fine that the blue still has too much holding strength for small fasteners. This purple formula works absolutely perfect on M3 and M4 set screws that do not require a more permanent fastening solution That you often get from the blue or red. I find the purple Loctite product to be superior for my needs and I highly recommend it for anyone who works on RC cars or small hobby items that may frequently need to be disassembled repaired and reassembled.
