Pretty & impressive
Amazing vacuum cleaner. Rotates for easy manuevering. Canister pops in and out easily to use for stairs, ceilings, hard to reach areas. Canister opens from bottom and twists off at the top to make dumping it out so simple. Louder than most vacuums, however it's suctioning power is superior. The rollers stop if you hit a snag, shoelace or anything large so there's no need to worry about burning belts or replacing them, and it turns on again with the touch of a button once you've cleared the jam. The attachments tend to fall off easily while running vacuum, if they aren't being used, but that's not a deal breaker imo. Very flashy design.... I'm shocked to have thought a vacuum was actually cool looking, but it is. I bought this preowned so can't comment on packaging, but I'll say I'm happier with this used purchase than I've been in brand new vacuum purchases over the last fifteen years. Worth the money, new or used. My only gripe is it doesn't have a retractable cord but that's just laziness talking :)

Quiet and Easy to use, and super easy to clean.
This is much improved over my other brand 12-15 year old upright vacuum, which still works great but makes a lot of noise, blows out lots of heat and is heavy-ish to lift. So first impressions of this Hoover are great. it was easy to unpack from box and pull parts out of packing, only a couple had plastic bags on them and they were easy to pull off, only one twister tie on the cord and a couple pieces of tape. nothing excessive. The box and insert are recyclable as well as the plastic bags. It does require a little bit of assembly. I suppose there are directions in the booklet but i just looked at the picture on the box and used some common sense. This was pretty easy. Handle snaps into top of unit. it only could fir one place and in only one direction. You will need a (+) screwdriver to put one screw in for the Power Head Holder, it screws onto the handle and there is only one hole, so you can't go wrong there either. Then snap the attachments on, these go on very easy but firmly. Next I did a test run. I had only vacuumed my carpets and floors a few days ago. At first the sound was rather quiet i didn't think this was going to do a good job. See photos, one shows how much dirt I got off my supposedly clean carpets. I'm amazed. It was very easy to push around and has a steerable floor head, which takes a little getting use to but i found areas to clean that made it easier. It glided over my low carpets easily. i also have some area rugs and the transition was easy, it just rolled effortlessly up onto the area rug and I did not have to lift the whole vacuum up like my old unit. It also did not move the area rug around as much as old vacuum. Also I have vinyl fake tile in kitchen floor, it did good here but the brush make a little louder sound here. Did good either way with brush on or off. Off if you want quieter. Again to roll out of the Kitchen and back onto carpets it went up over the little trim bump with no problem and no lifting. I was more than pleased with performance. Later i investigated removable parts. Everything snaps off very easily and lots of the parts are clear so you can see dirt inside and clearly see all parts of the vacuum. The dirt canister comes off easily. I dumped the dirt onto the bathroom floor for the photos. it empties easily by holding upright, pushing the black tab at the bottom from and the bottom drops down, like a trap door. Gravity does the rest and the dirt falls out, hopefully into the trash can or empty outside in the yard like I often do. The dirt canister also comes apart, easily by twisting. This can be brushed or rinsed out if needed. Other parts are all plastic and can be brushed or rinsed. [edit] I found you can rinse out the dirt canister, the top opens up. Also if you are careful, you can remove the bottom bin, then remove a plastic ring holding the clear assembly on. I was the able to brush all the inside parts clean. Be careful though to note where the label is for re-assembly so you get all the front parts lined up. Not difficult but it can be assembled out of alignment and won't fit back on vacuum. I may do this only once and a while. There is a removable pre-filter. You can clearly see if it has too much dust in it, comes off and apart very easily. This too can be rinsed. Read directions and allow to dry before using vacuum. On the front is a removable grill with the hepa filter behind it. That too snaps off easily. You can tap this clean, do not wash this one. All the parts or removable gadgets all come off easily. Lots of the release buttons are big. Everything that I can see only fits back one way so you can't really get it wrong putting it back together. I also tried some dusting. in the upright position the brush head does not spin, so the vacuum is quieter. My old one would still spin in this position while dusting. I like this one better. The handle for me is at a good height and it was easy to roll around as i went, using the vacuum sort of like a cane when standing still and dusting with the attachment in my other hand. I did suck up a small item by mistake. This was not a problem to shut off vacuum, remove dirt canister, open up using the twisting-turning half of dirt bin, not the bottom dump part, and reaching in to retrieve item without getting any dirt all over the floor. Everything being clear plastic made it easy to see where it was. Additionally you can take the whole canister-motor-dirt bin assembly off the handle-floor-head. Yes it will still power on and suck dirt through the hose. Use the small power head or attachments on hose. Great for harder to reach areas, like under furniture, stairs or inside the car. [edit] Change Washed to Rinse. Rinse is more accurate, lite use of water. I used the canister part to clean the car. Just carried that part, instead of the entire vacuum, downstairs and outside along with a couple accessories. This made cleaning the car great. First I vacuumed everything I could with the hose attachment and brush, then some areas with the crevice tool. I then found a use for the power head, it, the brush in it, is self propelled by the air suction. this part does make some noise but it sucks car mat-carpets clean and the carper under the mats, when the mats are removed. My car never looked so clean and it was rather easy to do. I also propped the vacuum between the car door and car door frame, with the hose into the V formed there, so it would not tip over, because it really sucks and sucks hard sometimes. Got all the dirt, sand and small pebbles out. All the car seats and dashboard are dusted, floors, in between and under seats and in the back cargo area. This just made it too easy. I'm really so pleased I picked this model, it does all I expected it to do and more but only better and easier than expected. I got one for in the office too. No more listening to our "jet engine" upright. It sucks dirt and dust out of the carpets without leaving behind drag and brush marks. Co-workers commented on how quiet it was and I was able to vacuum while customers came in. i found the removable canister was a help too to get into harder to reach areas or small spaces, under counters or behind heavy items near walls. It excels as an office vacuum too. ... find even with the 3 way suction this vacuuam sucks at sucking dirt
Very dissappointed specially after reading the reviews on this to find even with the 3 way suction this vacuuam sucks at sucking dirt, dust and other smaller things and when it comes to bigger things like half peice of cereal or peices of popcorn it spits across the floor and with dog hair you must vacuum over it like three times and the canister fills up super quick. Everytime you dont take the canister off and you use the hose for a small dirt pile the vacuum easliy tips over by using the hose and its painful to get hit with it. Very unhappy

Best sweeper I have ever owned!!
I have had this sweeper for a little over 2 months now and I love it! Best sweeper I have ever purchased! There are some pros and cons. Cons- It is not lightweight at all and is a little top heavy. I have laminate wood flooring throughout my house and a wood stove so when there is some wood pieces on the floor it sometimes just spits it out across the floor. I'm talking nickel to quarter size. It also does blow pet hair around a little but it is powerful enough that it will suck it right up if you are close to it. I love the turbo tool but it quit working after about 4 uses. And sometimes it can be a pain to detach and reattach the liftaway option. You have to line it up just right and it can be a little awkward because you have to hold it up kinda high up and as I said before it is a little heavy. The cons are not enough for me to lower the stars on this review. Overall the cleaning power of this thing is amazing! It does great on carpet! It is perfect for sweeping under tables because it lays almost flat to get under them really well. I don't have to move out all the chairs around my table to sweep under it like I did with my old sweeper. I love all the tools that came with it! My favorite is the pivoting dusting tool. Great for ceiling fans and getting around the ceiling for cobwebs. I like the liftaway option which is why I bought it. It is great for stairs also. As for the turbo tool I think a hair or string got wrapped up and damaged it somehow so the brush won't spin. I took it apart and cleaned it up and it still won't work. I highly recommend this sweeper if you can live with the cons like I can. All the options and power of this thing are too good to pass up.

I purchased this for my mother she needed something that does it all and has all the attachments to get the job done. She loves it, she said it has good suction and easy for her to use she is 77 years old and 90 pounds so it was nice that she can get around with it.

Excelente poder de succión, me parece un poco pesada y cada ve que la limpio siento que se pueden romper los componentes, los siento frágiles.

Shipped fast 4.5 stars even Easy to use, and man does this thing suck! We vacuumed with our 20 year old Hoover just prior to using this new one and the Air Lift Deluxe pulled a disturbing amount of dirt out of our "just vacuumed" carpets. With the rotating brush turned off it's good on hardwood floors and faster than sweeping. Corners well if you have a bit of wrist strength, otherwise you may want to use 2 hands. Upholstery attachment work well on the carpets in the car. For this price my only concern is longevity, only time will tell.
