Great Product-- Inconsistent Pricing
I was concerned by the negative reviews, but at $39.95 I took a chance. I was worried about the smell someone complained about, but after a brief whiff when you first take it out of the plastic bag it is wrapped in, there is no odor at all. The mat is perfectly comfortable under my feet and the color matches my kitchen beautifully. I really love the fact that you can just wipe away any spills--the biggest flaw with a standard kitchen rug. I love the large size, and in fact, I want to buy a second one so I will have a mat from my kitchen sink all the way across the counter where I prep. I came back to this page this morning to order a second one (only a week later) and find that the price has gone up $10 to $49.95. Is it worth it? Probably. But I find it annoying that I have to pay that much more a few days later, so I am going to wait it out and see if the price goes back down. That doesn't change my review of the product, which I am enjoying.

Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mat
This is a great mat at an affordable price. I purchased three of these mats to use in my kitchen. I stand for long periods of time while preparing meals and find these mats to be very comfortable. I have only had them for a few weeks, but I have found that my feet and back seem to hurt less since using them. The only drawback I have found thus far is that they tend to slide a bit on my wood floors, but I think that can be remedied by using area rug tape or rug grippers. I would definitely recommend Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mats.

BEST KITCHEN MAT AVAILABLE
I have a Spinal cord condition similar to MS. The pain in my legs and feet is 24/7 and quite unbearable. This mat, although a bit pricey, is worth every penny. Standing on this mat has relieved my pain so much, I have begun cooking again! This is huge! I like to eat healthy and love to cook. So I wanted to be more comfortable in the kitchen, but never thought this mat would have an unintended consequence of enabling me to cook healthy meals again! I strongly recommend this mat to anyone with leg or foot pain. You will find what seems like just a kitchen mat is so much more!

Worth every penny in comfort, started to fail at the one year mark
Updated and bumped down from 5 to 3 stars as, at the one year mark, it began to lose it's exterior coating (the color and textured part). I bought this to replace a similar item I purchased at Target - a cushioned mat for the kitchen. The problem with most of these mats is they have either a fabric facing or the ones with pictures on them are really porous - in either event - both are impossible to keep clean. What I like about this product is that the surface is sealed and given I'm using one at the stove and one at the sink, that's the ideal situation for stain prevention and easy clean up. This product also uses a very dense foam so I don't sink all the way to the floor (which happens with every other mat I've ever bought - thus defeating the purpose of the mat in the first place). The foam yields very well, but is dense enough to still provide the desired comfort. This has a wonderful non-slip surface on the back - my prior mats were forever skating around the kitchen. Finally, it has a beveled edge to it - I used to catch my foot/shoe on other mats and stumble - the beveled edge on this reduces that issue for me greatly. And it looks great with my floor! Very happy with it. The mat comes with a postcard from the manufacturer with a web address to register the product for a warranty - the link was broken, but if you go the main site page, you can see the 'warranty' area on the top menu. It's a bit of a scam to force you to give them a product review, however, so I may skip that part. Love the product - but that 'play' on the part of the manufacturer left a bad taste in my mouth. All in all, even with the mat losing it's outer covering, I'd still recommend it as it gave me a year of comfort and that's worth something.

Company does not stand behind lifetime warranty
I purchased two different brands of anti-fatigue mat at the same time. The other brand was thrown away after 2.5 years because the edges curled and it became a tripping hazard. The Royal mat still lies flat, and I do find it comfortable to stand on, but the faux-leather material has started to flake off. The mat came with a lifetime warranty, but when I attempted to contact the company, my email bounced and the warranty page on their website no longer exists. This product was satisfactory until it started to flake, but I'm mostly annoyed that they offer a lifetime warranty that they had no intention of honoring. I will look for another brand.

Feel the cush! The best of all such matts I've ever used. Attractive, durable, easy clean. I selected a caramel color to blend in with our hardwood oak flooring in the kitchen and now I want everything to feel this good! Form, function, quality, aesthetics---it doesn't get any better than this .75" thick cushion with beveled edges. I'll be adding more in varying sizes around the house.

My wife loved it! It's comfortable and easy to love
I bought this 15 months ago. My wife loved it! It's comfortable and easy to love. BUT - it just started to chip and peel away on the top, surface. It literally looks terrible now! I contacted the seller to ask about the Lifetime Warranty (it says it in the description).' At first he said there isn't a lifetime warranty. I then copied the description and sent it to him. He then apologized and said there is only a warranty if there is a manufacturing defect. I then explained again that it is chipping away on the surface. He never responded to the email. I then contacted Amazon and they are returning it and refunding my money. BUT - not the full amount because it is 15 months old. My wife is disappointed! Now I have to go shopping for another one.

Excellent, thick, bouncy comfort mat.
This is the third anti-fatigue mat I've purchased in the last 18 months and it is my favorite so far. I put it in front of our sink where my wife and I each spend what feels like an eternity washing dishes and prepping meals (we’re a family of 4 with frequent visitors). It's thick at 3/4 inch which makes a huge difference over the 5/8 inch one I bought previously. That thinner one is in front of my standing desk at work and admittedly it has much more use so I’m not surprised that it lost some of its spring over the first 4 months but I’m considering replacing it with one of these Royal mats from Equinox International. The Royal mat is so bouncy that when our infant son demands being carried, I stand with him on this mat in the kitchen rather than on any carpeted area of our apartment. It’s anti-slip in the sense that it’s not going to slip out from under you if you took a running slide at it but we have noticed that it consistently shifts position by a foot or so over the course of a few days. My wife and I both thought that the other was purposely moving the mat. Even though it’s thick, the bevel has stopped us from tripping over it. All manner of liquids and food have been spilled on the mat and are easily wiped off. If I could afford it I’d cover the entire kitchen floor with these.
