Excellent pump. Bought for my Kubota tractor. I can now by the hydraulic fluid in the 5 gallon pails and this pump attached right to the spout of the lid giving me a convenient way to fill during servicing.

I buy 5-gallon buckets of Kubota UDT2 hydraulic fluid for my tractor. This fits right in the lid and works great for servicing!

I have three pumps, the lid style, this one and the plastic version similar to this. I really dislike the whole lid style because if it tips over I get gear oil everywhere. That one has been relegated to my 00 grease. The plastic ones are fine but break. This one seems very solid and I love the large wooden hand. I’ve had this one about year now and pumped out many buckets of gear oil with no problems at all. Very quality product. The leak stop tip is kind of nice to have too.

After going through 3 of the harbor freight and tractor supply plastic versions, this pump is a godsend! It works smoothly and will move some hydraulic oil!! Well worth the money and love the twist shut off on the nozzle end. I also really like it came with the adapter so I can screw it onto the spout on buckets. Highly recommend. Mine has currently pumped well over 100 gallons and has not given me an issue so far.

Works as it should

I bought this for a standard 5 gallon plastic jug of hydraulic fluid with the pull out spout. Neither of the adapters fit the spout so I pulled the spout off and threaded one of the fittings through the hole into the pump. The pump worked flawlessly for me.

Pumped 90wt oil at 20 degrees no problem

Bought this for use in 5 gallon buckets. Was going to drain & refill the transmission & rear ends in my semi truck. It took longer to drain em than it did to refill em. Pretty easy to use & seems well made. Waaaay quicker & easier than using quart squeeze bottles

I figured I should write a review for this since my use isn't the usual or intended use! I make bath products and one of them is a bubble bath, which has the base come in a giant 5 gallon bucket. I used to put my measuring bowl on the floor and pick up the bucket to pour out the base, but that was obviously not ideal and also freakin killed my back. So I got this pump to help me out! Ideally I wish it could pump more at a time, but it's still way better than my alternative method. The only thing I'm unsure about is that it doesn't sit tight on the bucket opening, but this could potentially be user error. All in all if you need a pump for reasons other than automotive oil, this one is great!
