These Well Nuts are 1/4" longer than OEM and made from the best EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer), a type of synthetic rubber. The main properties of EPDM are its outstanding Heat, Ozone and Weather resistance. It will not break down from the UV rays of the Sun like normal Rubber will! These are manufactured for outdoor use, They have a durometer hardness of 55A-65A and a temperature range of -20° to +212° F. They will outlast your bike! The Washers are made from PEEK (polyetheretherketone) polymer! No one else on has these, they are custom made for this purpose! When compared to nylon PEEK has inherently higher strength and temperature-resistance properties! These are the BEST, bar none! Now, take a close look at the screws! These are not painted screws like all the rest! Painted screws will chip and the paint will flake off after a short time. These screws are Hot Black-Oxide Finished Pan Head Phillips Machine Screw! They are 18-8 Stainless Steel and will not rust! They are not a shiny black screw like the painted one, but a more Satin Black one. They are 1-1/4" Long, not the 1 inch length like the factory screws. They have a better reach and will far outlast any painted screw.
