RefreshLiquigel Lubricant Eye Gel Drops, 0.5 Fl Oz Sterile

I have diagnosed dry eye and I have been using the normal refresh tears for a while now. They help, but I needed something for overnight use, so I decided to try the gel form. So far I am very satisfied with the gel, especially for the price. I can tell a big difference in the morning if I don't use it before bed. Yes, it does make your vision blurry for a while, but what do you expect after putting gel drops in your eyes. Not a problem for sleeping and even during the day your vision clears up after 10 minutes or so.

This helps dryness and itching longer than liquid, but takes getting used to because of it's thickness.

Pros: Refresh Liquigel is used for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. It does provide better relief, and provides longer-lasting moisture than regular artificial tear drops, and it lasts throughout a good portion of the day.Cons: The thickness of the gel may be of some concern because of the lack of clear focus (much like looking thru a fog.) The clear focus does resume over time, but the timing depends upon how much Refresh Liquigel has been applied, as well as other environmental factors.Conclusion: I do recommend this product for recreational purposes such as being around the ocean or beach sand, or even relaxing in one's own back yard. Just please keep in mind the thoughts I shared above.

Great eye drops, great to use at night because the gel makes your vision a little blurry. They don’t sting and are easy to use.

I’ve been using Refresh Tears for more than decade. This is my first time trying Refresh Liquigel. I’ve had Lasik twice this century, and the second time my Lasik surgeon told me it would likely cause my eyes to get dry and I’d need to use eye drops daily. I got it because in recent years. Along with using eye drops during the day, I put drops in just before going to sleep. In recent years I’ve noticed that when I wake up, my eyes can often feel dry. So I decided to try drops that are thicker than the Tears I use daily.The Liquigel drops have been great! My eyes feel fine when I wake up after a full night’s sleep. So these work exactly as I’d hoped. The one thing about these drops that I’ve experienced is that after I put them in, my vision is blurry for quite a while (10-15 minutes). I found this out one night when I put in Liquigel drops around 30 minutes or so before I planned to go to sleep. My vision does not get blurry at all from using Tears. So I continue using Tears until, literally, I’m ready to turn all lights out. Then I put in Liquigel. It’s a routine that works really well for me. The only drawback I’ve found is that, when I wake up, there is often crustiness from the Liquigel drops. But that is easily and quickly washed away just by splashing some water on my face.
