Levy's Leathers 3" Wide Amped Leather Series Guitar Strap with Foam Padding and Garment Leather Backing; Dark Brown (M26PD-DBR_DBR)

I bought this guitar strap for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. He plays guitar regularly, so I wanted to get him something that was comfortable but also felt like a quality upgrade from a basic guitar strap. This one definitely fits the bill. The 3-inch width and foam padding make a noticeable difference in comfort, especially when wearing the guitar for longer periods of time. The strap feels supportive without digging into his shoulder, which is a big plus. The leather also feels really nice and has a quality look to it that you just don’t get with some of the cheaper fabric straps. I really like the overall construction. It feels sturdy and like it’s made to hold up to regular use. The garment leather has a soft feel, but the strap still feels substantial enough that I’m comfortable knowing it’s supporting his guitar. It also has a more classic, professional look that works well with his guitar instead of looking overly flashy. My husband says it’s comfortable to wear and has become one of his favorite straps to use. I think the extra padding is especially nice for anyone who plays for longer periods or has a heavier guitar. I bought this as a gift for him, so I was really happy that it turned out to be something he actually uses and enjoys. It feels like a well-made product rather than something that’s just designed to look nice. Overall, we’re very happy with it. If you’re looking for a comfortable, sturdy leather guitar strap, especially as a gift for someone who plays regularly, I definitely think this is worth considering. This is the second strap I purchased from the Levy’s Amped series. The first one went into service 18 months ago and has held up very well through daily practice and on a number of gigs. The new one is set up to be a little shorter to accommodate a few other guitars. The tan one in the picture is a 20 year-old Levy’s strap just to illustrate their durability – it’s been on more than 100 gigs. They are all very durable and super comfortable. Note I use the last bit of the strap and the final hole to make a loop for my cable. I didn’t do that on the new one because it will be utilized on an instrument that doesn’t need the loop. I noticed a few of the negative reviews complained about them being too short. I have to wonder if the reviewers realize they come with the strap set in the shortest position. You can move the tail end into any of the slots to achieve your desired length. For me, that’s 45 inches, Straplok to Straplok. Max length pin to pin is about 50 inches. So, it won’t accommodate a Flea or Dee Dee Ramone playing style; but everyone else should be able to find their happy place. The other complaint in some reviews was the suspicion that the strap may not be genuine leather. It’s a highly finished product – smooth on the top and textured on the padded side. If you give it a leather test (I did) you’ll find that both the shiny top and the textured side are real. Levy’s makes more expensive straps with fancier and more detailed leather, but the Amped series is a bargain at $29.

The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it is. The 3-inch width and the thickness of it really helps spread the weight of my bass across my shoulder. Even during longer practice sessions, my shoulder doesn’t get sore like it used to with thinner straps. My back doesn't cave in on itself either, which is a huge boon. Keep in mind that my bass doesn't compare to the heaviest of basses, but my classic 70's Fender Jazz Bass weighs in around 11 pounds with it's maple wood finish. After a while I really notice the difference, and this strap makes it much easier to handle. The leather material itself feels high-quality, soft enough to be comfortable but thick and sturdy so I don’t have to worry about it stretching or wearing out. Adjusting the length can be a tad confusing at first, I had to watch a video initially but when you set it up, it stays exactly where ya want it. It also fits perfectly in my case, I have to bend and squish it in and it always reverts back to it's normal shape after. It also just looks fantastic. The leather has a nice, clean feel that goes perfectly with the vintage aesthetic of my bass. Not flashy, just nice and professional-looking. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted: comfortable, durable, and stylish. If you’ve got a heavier bass or guitar and need a strap that actually makes playing more comfortable, this one’s a solid choice.

The strap is amazing for my 9.5lb Gibson LP 60s Standard. Was tired of using the strap that came with the case candy and my brown DAddario 2.5in leather. The strap definitely makes it feel less heavy. However, the non-foam part of the strap is way shorter than expected and holes are very stiff and couldnt get the straplocks on it from my Stratocaster to see if they would fit. They didnt. Also the bottom part strap is crusting and shedding already after like 1 use. Anyways instead of taking 2 whole stars off. Im taking just 1 because I used my Daddario flex strap buttons instead and they didnt pop off like another strap is own. Also the foam is very comfortable. Just wish it wasnt stiff getting it off and on because I dont leave straps on my guitars with nitro finish.

Noticable quality right out of the box. 3 inches wide means your shoulder won't start hurting especially if you pay a heavier instrument like a bass or an LP. The smooth leather and aesthetics it brings shows you care about style and functionality without spending a fortune Easy to use with or without strap locks The leather is thick enough to handle long gigs it heavy rehearsals and NOT stretch out

Best strap possible! Made in Cannuckistan. Every strap I own is damn near identical to the other, proper leather. Maybe one button slit is a Lil bigger or smaller, but for $30 who cares. Really comfy even on my heavy arse maple C1 plus/custom. Just buy it, sore dick deal. Can't beat it. As and aside I've rocked that heavy arse Schecter for over an hour without local fatigue

The belt section is very nice, but the strap-end is too short. I had to buy a longer end-strap, increasing the cost by sixteen dollars per belt. Final product (with the Planet-Waves end-strap is very comfortable.

I bought this strap for $17.21 - on sale. Is it cheap leather? Yes. Is the leather dry? Yes. Is it worth $17.21? Absolutly. For what I need, it is confortable and looks great. Before I used it, I put some leather conditioner on it to soften it up and and it worked wonders. I'm very happy with this purchase.
