Not real n80 wire

This can't be real nichrome 80 wire. I've been using n80 wire for over a year now. So today I did a new coil build with this wire I purchased and immediately the coils turned brown and black and got all gunked up and this is when I was just pre firing the wire to press the coils. I'm am very unsatisfied with this order.
