Transformers Premium Series Deluxe Class Action Figure - Decepticon Barricade

Barricade is a great character, and the alt-mode for this version looks great, but it is a little bigger than modern Deluxes, so it won't look right next to your latest Studio Series Bumblebee. Plus, his articulation isn't great. But those are both features of him being an older figure. Could he use an update? Totally! Would it have a horrible transformation because BayVerse figures always sacrifice that (rather than Robot or Alt mode appearance)? Probably! But he's still fun. Lots of deco makes him look great on a shelf. By himself. ;)

In all honesty, I hate this thing. My kids absolutely love it, but I hate it. I've said this before about some of the other Transformers, and I'll say it again, only get this if your kid is over the age of 7 and can fanagle this thing around himself, or be prepared to switch it from robot to car about 1 million times! Not that I mind helping my kids with this stupid robot, but when you just spent 5 minutes trying to twist pieces into place so it all lines up together and then 2 minutes later they want it a different way it can get a tad frustrating...especially when there are 6 different robots and they are mid battle and "have to transform!!! It's how they do it in the movie!" Lol. I do, however, reccommend it. They are great toys and I've recently told my boys that if they can't transform it themselves then the robots can battle the way that they are. ;)

My little boy wanted this toy so bad and I couldn't find it in the store. I'm glad it was available online, but I just hate getting them Transformers. While he was very happy to get the toy, he was also frusterated in putting it together, which means the parents need to figure it out the first 30 times until the little ones can get it. In short, the toy was great and durable. Just expect to assist in transforming it over and over until they get it themselves :)

bought for my nephew, he has had if for a few years now and the toy is still intact. great value for your money. and my nephew thinks they are pretty awesome. win win purchase.

Premium deluxe figure is fantastic, I think better made than new versions. The only thing I don't like is its low mobility, but very good for collections

This toy was much requested, and once finally received, loved!! A perfect addition to a Transformers fan's collection. The transformation is easy, allowing even a young child to switch from vehicle mode to robot mode, and the additional character Frenzy makes play even more like the movie. The only drawback is that the side pieces don't quite meet up and stay put in vehicle mode.

Purchased this because I collect all the versions of the Transformers in the new movie series. Been a fan of Transformers since Generation One.
