This lock is very helpful because it's very sturdy this is the 3rd one of these I've had in my possession the 1st to the only issue I had was the key snapping in the lock but that was because I was really stressed at the time that I have trying to get away from a negative situation however this lock took me the calling of the local police with their bolt cutters and it took them about 10 minutes to cut through with a pair of bolt cutters

This gives you the ease of cinching the cable tight so that it is difficult do someone to steal your property. I use it on a RV surge protector and it wraps around the unit to keep it from thieves.

This was purchased to secure a surge protection system to the pedestal when we’re at an RV park with the motorhome. Lock works as expected. This model was chosen as it had a larger diameter cable. I only wish we could’ve ordered the lock with this diameter cable but at a much shorter length. Ones with a shorter cable came only with a smaller diameter cable. Other than that, the lock mechanism works as represented. Good product.

Couldn't be happier with this bad boy other than the length of the cable. Only a six footer was offered so that's what we have for our bikes. Easy to use and secured four bikes through the frames and around the permanent locking station.It won't make it around the four bikes on the bike rack so I'll have to double up I suppose - I bought two for this purpose.

I bought this lock and about after a year the lock was very hard to open and close, then it almost became impossible to lock, I had to stop using it. I emailed master lock with what happened and a pdf of the receipt from amazon, they were very quick to say that they would replace the lock at no cost to me and I had the new lock within 2 to 3 weeks. They sent me their yellow and black model instead of this model which is an amazon choice and it has much better reviews. We will see what happens with this lock in a year but I am pleased with Master Locks over all service.

Work wonderfully! Work just as they say they should and can synch really tight if needed. I use as extra locking on my cargo box to deature theft.

Solid, and dependable. I had previously tried a more lightweight version, but it was too hard to snug down without snapping the key. This one is designed so you can take the key out while pulling it tight.

I bought my 6 ft x 3/8 inch diameter version to secure one or two sit-on-top kayaks. The length is just right to go through scupper holes in the hull of one or two stacked kayaks and then around something else like a tree or roof rack rail. This is very cost-effective compared to other options for securing kayaks. Having the scupper holes is the key.I've tried out the lock just a few times and the key action seems ok to me (some complain they break). They are not heavy duty, but not chintzy either.

Ive used it to secure my bbq safe, its well built and easy to use. Since i dont unlock it often, i cant tell on the long run.
