Keeps my dogs safely in the boundary
This PetSafe Wireless Pet Containment System Receiver Collar has been a game changer for us. It works great at keeping my dogs within the boundary, and I honestly never have to worry about them escaping anymore. Setup was straightforward, and once the boundary was set, the collar performed exactly as advertised. My dogs learned the limits quickly, and the system has been consistent and reliable. It gives me real peace of mind knowing they’re safe while still having the freedom to enjoy the yard. The collar is comfortable for them to wear, and I appreciate how dependable it has been day after day. No more chasing dogs down the street or stressing every time they go outside. If you’re looking for a wireless containment system that actually works and keeps your dogs secure, I highly recommend this one.

Life changer
ok so i've owned this product for a month. I have a 40lb pitbull and a 60lb pit/wof. I trained them for like 2 days. didn't go all that great. I'm hard of hearing so i really didn't know when it started beeping so it was hard for me to tell when they were getting warned. I didn't put the collars on tight enough to make good contact either. Anyways i stopped training after two day. I tightened the collars and pretty much let them go. My dogs learned really fast not to pass the border. The collars shock them good enough to make them yipe and head back into the perimeter. They don't test it whatsoever. If i walk out of the perimeter they stop right at the edge and watch me. They don't run to the neighbors house anymore when they are outside. The perimeter is a lot bigger than u might imagine. One thing to watch out for is make sure the post are tightened good when u get it. Amazon overnighted me a new collar because one of the post came off in the yard. No chance in finding it. They were great! This thing has changed my dogs lives for the better. I can leave them outside without worrying about them running into the road or harassing the neighbors (who love them but they seem to not listen to me when the neighbors are outside) Very happy i made this investment. I take them off the dogs once they get inside. It sounds a little inhumane to shock them but its better than scraping them off the road or getting a complaint from the neighbor. Edit: I've had this product for some time now. A couple of suggestions especially if you have hyper dogs that play with each other a lot. replace the collar (not the shock part) with one that has metal buckles and stay clear of plastic. I've replaced mine twice before i learned my lesson and my dogs almost destroyed the shocking mechanisms. The plastic clasp on the original collar is THIN. One my dog bit off the female dog while playing. The other i'm not so sure if it just broke due to how thin it was or due to the fact it was freezing outside or the other dog or a combination of all of them. My batteries in both collars now are held in by duct tape because they chewed them up when they came off and the batteries fall out. I contacted petsmart to see if they had a repair place because the only thing actually wrong with it were the plastics and they still worked but they do not. They did offer me a 30% discount (which is still well over $80 dollars). I know it wasn't a fault of the companies but mine. My male wolf/pit is about 90 lbs now and still doesn't test it. He knows however what it is for and when its not on him. You have to have this collar on pretty tight for a good skin/contact connection. Fit it while they are standing up. I bought these collars at walmart and modified them.

Outstanding product!
This collar containment system is very effective! It works with even the most stubborn dogs! Mine is set to about 100’ containment, which gives my dogs a 200’ diameter area to run, jump, play and anything else! No chain! No cable! Therefore, he doesn’t get wrapped around items that restrict him to a small area! I’ve been using this system for years and have no intention of using anything else! Highly recommended!

A must for dogs!
A must have for dogs! We have had this brand and collar for three of our dogs and it is very durable. The battery last awhile and it doesn’t hurt the dog when the vibration goes off! Super easy to use and set up!

great for the escape artist dog
I bought a pet safe invisible fence about 3 years ago and recently bought replacement collars. My dogs are terrier mixed breed muts who can get over or under almost any fence. I have a big fenced yard (1+ acre) and live on a busy street. My dogs were getting out of my fenced yard and escaping into traffic until I found the SOLUTION: Pet safe invisible fence! Pro's: It's easy to set up (plug it in, check the batters, put the collars on and train your dogs for about a week)and keeps my muts safe from traffic. I don't have to worry about them digging out or jumping over. That's the good. The stuff you might want to know before you buy: You must train your dogs to use it (this doesn't take long but you should not skip this part of the "set up"). There is a limit on the "range" - but it is a reasonably large range - not a problem for me. Other animals can get into your yard; it does not keep animals out of the yard, so you should keep in mind "why" you are buying the system. If you need to also keep other animals / people out of the yard, this is not your solution. Batteries last about 3 months, after that they must be replaced (cost: about $12.00 for two batteries). The not so good: You may want to buy a battery back up power supply for the unit; if the power goes off, the dogs get shocked! This is a real problem during thunderstorms and other events that may cause power outages - hence the batter powered backup power supply. To be safe, if I think the power might go out I take the collars off and keep the dogs in the house. The collars wear out after a while and if the dog manages to lose it (which mine did because they were wearing out after 3 years of use), you have to pay about $120.00 to replace the collar with an "extra" collar. (If you just need to replace the collar and not the battery operated unit that is located in the collar it is about $10.00). I gave it four stars because I wish the collars came in different sizes instead of a one size fits all and I wish the "extra" collars were not so expensive. Bottom line: A great solution to keep escape artists where they belong - in the yard!

Used for years, but recent extreme failures!!
I've used these collars for almost 10 years and they have been great in town, and also now that we moved into the country to keep our dogs away from wildlife, cars, and in our yard. Now, the last three I've bought have had major malfunctions. I'm not sure if the quality control has began to fall a part but I will no longer purchase these collars or from the company. 2 of the last collars I had to return because they randomly go into correction mode even within 20 feet of the receiver, which is turned to highest range. One I notice was randomly beeping in the box before I got it on a collar and on a dog, luckily. This led my wife and I to discover that a second new collar was the reason why our other dog would randomly yelp and run to hide. His collar was going off randomly well within the range as well! Both of those collars I returned to Amazon. Tonight, we had one collar left and it was on one of our pups. He rang our video door bell, yelping, and upon investigation we found him getting constantly shocked. He couldn't control his upper body and was unable to become stable. I checked everywhere while trying to secure and comfort him for some type of bite when I finally unbuckled the collar and threw it off of him. He immediately recovered, although panting hard and has been fine sense. I threw the collar away immediately. If we would not have reacted so quickly or had been away from the house, we would be without our dog. I have loved, supported and recommended these collars for years. After three consecutive failures and almost loosing a dog, I think everyone should know they are not what they used to be and the risk of putting them on your pets. I will not be buying these units again, and will immediately return the one pending order on its way.

This is my third replacement collar. Truly love the whole system, my dogs feel safe and I feel safe knowing they are staying in their boundary.

Great receiver!
The collar is pretty cheap and can be replaced if you buy a good one and just use an electric soldering iron to melt two holes in it to mount the receiver. The receiver is tough and even stands up to a dog chewing on it for a short time. It is also waterproof which is a good reason not to get the rechargeable one. Batteries are not cheap but they each last about 3 months and are worth wayyyyyyyy less than your best friend.

It works great! Our dog is a German shepherd and we ...
We bought this replacement after our kids left the original on top of our dogs crate and our dog chewed it beyond repair. It works great! Our dog is a German shepherd and we only have it set to 4 and she has yet to go out of bounds. We like it because it gives her a warning before the correction.
