Is this swaddle made with any flame retardants?

Thank you for your question. We do not use flame retardants on our Swaddles.

Why is there a slit on the bottom? Some people think its ripped, but its there on purpose. I'm not sure what its for though.

Yes, the swaddles are meant to have the slit in the back. The slit in the back is there so you can use the swaddle with bouncers and swings. We do not recommend using a swaddle with an infant car seat.

What is the TOG rating on this item?

Thank you for your question. TOG is .5

Do babies wear clothes underneath or just diaper when sleeping?

Yes, babies can wear pjs underneath
