Best jerky book I've seen, period!
Without a doubt this is the best jerky book I've seen. Almost six years ago I bought four of the top rated jerky books on Amazon but this is the only book I continue to use regularly. A lot of jerky books have fancy pictures and flowery prose, but when you try the recipes you get something that's meh... Jerky Everything has what matters, great tasting recipes, period!! Pamela Braun please write a second book, you have quite a talent coming up with great recipes.

Lots of great jerky recipes most of which you can find on his site, but I’ve been following him for many years and made many of his recipes. The book is loaded with lots of great photographs and tips. Highly recommended.

A fantastic jerky book for carnivores and vegitarians!
First off, the recipes in this book are phenomenal, we have yet to make a jerky that wasn't a smashing hit! The book features beef, chicken, pork and turkey recipes, along with fish, fruit and veggies for your dehydrating tastes! If you don't have a dehydrator there's even a section for alternative drying means and instructions. The book also features beautiful full color photos of about a third of the jerky recipes. A great cook book for you or a great gift for a family member!

Great book with lots of great recipes!
I’ve been making jerky for about a year and have a great handle on good recipes, but this book has opened my eyes to a lot of new flavor ideas. I especially like the vegan/vegetarian recipes so I can now make some tasty snacks for my friends with dietary restrictions. Great book filled with lots of great recipes.

Great Jerky Recipes
Great recipes! Super book. Really love everything I've made. The only thing is that it doesn't open flat so you need to rest something heavy on it to read the recipes and make the marinade. It helps if you have a little experience first because temp and time info is limited.

A great tool for different ideas
Good ideas. I have been making both venison and beef jerky for years. The recipes are good ideas. But the 1st few have been bland. That's why I say "good ideas" but not great recipes.

Wonderful book!!!
I absolutely LOVE this book! There are so many fantastic recipes that I can't wait to try! My dehydrator is definitely going to get a workout! I highly recommend Ms Braun's book to anyone who is interested in making their own jerky!!!

Jerky - do you know everything about it? This book apparently does!
Very interesting book on an unusual subject! this book gives you the way forward to produce "jerky" in all it's forms including some I'd never even thought of . . . . . . . so why haven't I used it yet? In the usual manner of life what you want to do and what you have time to do tend to be different a lot, but this book gives me the incentive to at least have a go at it! Well recommended if only as a "go to to find out" manual. Until I've tried a few recipes I'm afraid that's how it must stay!
