This product really works. I have tried many other products and none worked before. My water feature is in full sun so the algae grows really fast. I had to use quite a bit on the first and second treatment about three times the recommended amount but it worked. After that I have just been adding the recommended amount every week and the algae has not grown back. There was no foaming or change in the color of my stone like other products have caused. I recommend this product it has not affected the birds that come to bathe or drink from it. I don’t have fish so I don’t know how that would work. I included before and after pictures two weeks apart.

This product performs exceptionally well; typically, my fountain becomes overgrown with algae by midsummer and appears unsightly, yet this solution has maintained its clarity. The product is highly effective, requiring only a few drops for an average-sized fountain.

I have a small - medium sized fountain approximately 50 gallons that in the summer heat would develop green water even with copper discs and copper pipe in the water within a week or two depending on temperature. I bought this on 6/30, cleaned the fountain and added 10 drops originally. Now I add 5 drops once a week and it hasn't developed algae or green water at all as of today 8/30. So two months later and I haven't cleaned the fountain once. I use a float that replaces splashed water automatically so the water is refreshed regularly but even with that in the 100+ degree summer heat it the water would begin to turn green in a week before I found this. This product has saved me from constantly cleaning out the fountain every few days. I highly recommend this and have been very satisfied with the results.

Effective, easy to use. Have used this item for previous fountains I owned. Also used it when I worked at a large garden center. Really helpful for algae. Please note it is not safe for fish. Follow all guidelines

When I use this product during the cooler months it works great for about 3-4 weeks at keeping water clear. Our backyard fountain is on every day for about 14 hrs, and it’s in a location where it gets full sun. During the hotter months (temps over 85 degrees +), the green algae comes back in about 5 days however. Even if we add more product it still gets quite a bit of algae. When it gets really hot we just empty out the fountain for about 2 months as it gets too expensive to dump water out and then re treat with more Algaecide. We have a second fountain ,in our courtyard , and that fountain is in a shaded area. Even though it may get pretty hot during the summer months, I only get Algea build up gradually due to it not being exposed to full sun. So for shaded areas (or cooler temps) this product works great.

Oh my goodness. This product is amazing. We live in South Carolina. Very hot in the summer months. Our outdoor small pond with a water fall has always, I mean always, been green. I would clean it out, only to have it turn green in a couple of days. No product I got kept it clean, but this one! It’s a summer miracle. Wow! I love it! And it is safe for pets and people!

My bird bath fountain was gathering green mould/slime every few days, necessitating frequent scrubbing out. Found this reviewed on Amazon - why, I wonder, is it not available from a UK source? Arrived from Amercia in 8 days. Extremely economical (despite the high delivery cost) needing only one drop each week. No green mould or slime since I started using it. I am delighted.

Bought this after reading positive reviews, andirons does just what it promises. It worked in just over an hour without cleaning the 7ft fountain. It is economical as you only need a drop a week maintenance.my only thing was the expensive postage as it isn't available in the uk and has to come from America but it arrived really quickly. Would recommend it to anyone.

This stuff really works - since the day we started putting the drops in, it's stayed crystal clear - not a single sign of any 'green'. I would highly recommend it.
