Well made, great value
I bought this focusing rail for use while doing macro photography. The large rotating knob smoothly moved the rail forward or backward, and the small knob can be used to lock the rail so that it does not move. I am really impressed by the quality of the machining considering the modest price. If you want to do macro photography, this will make getting a good photo much easier.The tag on the package is written in Chinese so it appears that this was not packaged for US sales. There are no instructions with the unit, but it is so simple to us that there is no need for instructions anyway.Great value, get one to add to your kit.

Works fine. Bigger than needed.
This focusing rail works fine. It doesn't have the smoothest mechanism in the world, but it's fine for my uses. 10" turns out to be a lot longer than I needed (I was in a "bigger is better" frame of mind when I ordered it), and a shorter one would be less cumbersome. So depending on your use, consider a shorter rail.An Arca-Swiss-compatible base should have been nice, but the tripod socket works fine.

Works well
I use this for a heavy DSLR with a big lens. It allows me to balance the camera on the tripod. The worm screw works well.
