I'll update this review when I actually RECEIVE the product, but currently I'm going on 6 weeks for actual delivery of this. I ordered it May 1 and as of June 9, still no pump. The delivery time period shows sometime between May 28 and June 14 (no PRIME shipping was available when I purchased it - but I see it is NOW...), but every other product I've ever ordered from Amazon with such a broad shipping timeframe still arrives within 2 weeks... With several other reviews on here saying they got theirs quickly, I'm getting concerned my order was lost and I may be out $28... I hope not, but I can only assume they're shipping this from China on a row boat, it encountered a monster storm, sank, had to be retrieved by a submarine, was placed on another row boat, Nigerian pirates commandeered the second row boat and are holding my pump for ransom... You get the idea.I trust it'll be a good product when it does arrive, but I hope the 2014 camping season isn't completely over by the time it does. I need this for my popup trailer now! Two separate orders for LED lightbulbs placed on the same day and given the same broad shipping time period were received several weeks ago. This is getting a bit ridiculous.I'll update this with a review of the product itself when it does arrive. Shipping sucks though. Pay for 2-day shipping. I wish I knew that when I bought it. I may not have time to install this before our second trip. I'm already going to miss out on it for our first trip this year.UPDATE: I was supposed to receive the pump by June 13, but that date came and went. I had little-to-no expectation of receiving a refund for some reason, but contacted the seller and explained the problem. They answered promptly and refunded my money within a couple of days. I went ahead and re-ordered (this time with PRIME shipping) and received the pump yesterday on-time. I will install it in my popup trailer in a couple of days and update the review with the pumps functionality at that time. Great response by the seller though!UPDATE PART 2: I finally got to the install today and found like other buyers that it came with no instructions whatsoever. Power wires are pretty self-explanatory (red is +, black is -), but the inlet/outlet ports weren't even labeled. I connected 3/8" tubing to each side and after a quick test on my popup trailer battery found that left is inlet, right is outlet.Install went smooth and easy. I t'd into the water line for the hand-pump side of my faucet (Leisure Components faucet purchased on Amazon) and plugged into the inlet of the pump. From the outlet I plugged the hose into a t'd connection I installed in the city water hose. Wired it up and tapped into the power wire for my thermostat, grounded to the frame, and I was good to go. I installed a toggle on/off switch so that I can bypass the water pump entirely if need-be for some reason.The pump is a little bit noisy by itself, but once the dinette cushions are back on and particularly if there are some additional items in the space under the dinette seat, it's actually very quiet and muffled. The reviewers who claim it's loud enough to wake up the whole campground are exaggerating a TON. The mounting feet are thick rubber to help dampen the noise and not spread vibrations through the trailer frame, but I cut up an old mouse pad and used that as a buffer between the pump and trailer frame as well to help with that even more.All things said, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. I can still pump water with the faucet as normal, can plug into city water if available, and can use the water pump itself for those times my family doesn't want to have to pump water from the facet when we're boondock camping. The $30 price tag and free shipping simply can't be beat either. AWESOME product!

I installed this in my camper van, to dispense water from my 5 gallon water cans, up to the sink faucet. In the past 7 months, it's pumped around 50 gallons... pretty light use, I suppose. It was easy to install, except for finding the braided reinforced 3/8 inch ID "food grade" tubing that I wanted. None locally. I first tried to use non-reinforced clear vinyl tubing, like you find at Lowes. It was fine for the pickup tube. But, for the pressurized output, I could not get a hose clamp on that thin tubing, that would seal against the pump's short barb. And, the pressure capacity of that tubing is marginal, for the constant pressure of this pump. I finally ordered the tubing from a brewery supply outfit that sold it by the foot, on the big auction site. With this thicker tubing, a standard hose clamp sealed nicely on the barb. I then used a barbed nylon adapter to go from the braided tubing, to a standard faucet feed line.I installed a switch near the sink Prime Products 11-0190 Rocker Switch with Chrome Plate so that I could easily turn off power to the pump. The pump recovers nicely from loss of prime. When I run 5-gal can #1 dry, I can switch the pickup tube to 5-gal can #2, and quickly gets the flow going again. I've got about 18 inches of tubing running to the top of the 5-gal can, and 26 inches of tubing to connect to the faucet.

After the first order was not the correct item, the pump was reshipped quickly and I installed it as a fresh water pressure pump in my sailboat. I was concerned from the other reviews that it would be louder than other pumps that I've tried, but was thankful that it is actually less noisy (it is still not quiet but in comparison, it was less annoying). I also appreciate the shut off pressure at 35psi rather than 80psi because it shuts off quicker and it's not trying to push so much pressure through my lines.

I installed this for a camper van kitchen. The 1.2 GMP is great. The pump is small and powerful. Easy to install. A perfect pump for a great price.

💥 LIES! 📣I’ve had dozens of pumps and this little thing woke up my neighbors and sent me diving for cover when it kicked on! If I had been in Nam I woulda had serious flashbacks! It ain’t quiet by any means! But it worked fine

this is a really great pump with really great suction and output pressure (for 1 faucet). Installed 2 in my 4x4 rock crawler, 1 to run a hose, then a second one to refill the reservoir via suction. For the price it's unbeatable, but it is quite loud when running so be aware if that's something you care about

This little pump does a great job, particularly for how small it is. It was the perfect choice for my small truck/camper system.The plastic construction is robust and feels to be well manufactured. Installation is very simple: attach 3/8" ID hose to barb connectors with hose clamps and connect the positive and negative wires to your 12V source via a switch or relay.Water pressure was very good when running directly at full flow, but when running with partially open valve (restricted flow), the pump's pressure switch causes rapid on/off cycles. I chose to couple the pump with a 0.75L accumulator to eliminate this chatter and reduce electrical/mechanical wear.Very happy with the overall performance of this water pump.

If your pump arrives broken, return it, has a 4 YEAR warranty. Don't throw it out and complain here 🤣.Mount your pump properly before complaining that YOU broke it.Yes, it does fit the tubing IT SAYS IT FITS.And its NOT water proof? Okay, Do your research before buying something that doesn't have a feature you want.Did you install a debris filter? Are you letting it run until it's primed or just the post pump water comes out and you shut it off quick then rinse and repeat until you run your pump with air at least half the time? Self priming doesn't make it a glorified air pump. It means on the off chance there's SOME air youre not instantly screwed. You still need AS MUCH PRIME as possible.Pumps can be complicated to take care of so please do your research. A lot of the complaints in the reviews could be claimed warranties, reading the description, learning about pumps, asking questions here etc.It does what I want, when I want, as advertised.
