Good for learning
At first I doubted that you could cut anything with scissors that don't have metal blades. But then I realized that it's enough to show the child that you can't put your whole fingers through the holes of both arms, but just the beginnings of your fingers and open the arms of the scissors and start cutting the paper deep in the opened scissors, then it works great. Our little grandson enjoyed it, he didn't tear the paper, but he cut. Although the scissors are not precise, you can't cut details with them, but as the first scissors to understand the principle of what happens to paper and scissors when cutting, they are excellent.

Great resource
Daughter needed to practice her fine motor skills further but fines standard cutting skills activities boring and repetitive , I was looking for an activity she could practice these skills but still have fun and this is perfect. There’s lots of different shapes and patterns to cut out, often ones that are like puzzles so she can cut them out and then glue them back together or cut out the images and use them to make a scene / collage etcGreat if your child is a little older and needs to practice these skills as it’s not too babyish. (It comes with toddler scissors that only cut paper too which is a bonus if you’re concerned about them cutting hair and clothing but we just used her normal scissors we already had at home!)

Lovely book for a gift. Were appreciated and enjoyed.
As a gift for an almost 3yr old. My only gripe is that I requested an email reply for the gift receipt to be sent to me. I had already requested that paper gift receipts were sent with each gift each with a greeting and saying who the gifts were for and who had arranged for them to be sent. Unknowingly that meant that only I received a gift receipt via email, not the person the gift was actually for. They hadn't a clue who had sent the gifts for a new baby and his 3yr old sister. Such a pity as I had to enquire if the packages had arrived. All this during Covid-19 virus pandemic lockdown at home when I couldn't hand the gifts myself.

Good
The media could not be loaded. Good quality, easy to remove pages and I like the puzzles .. I wish it included more than one scissor otherwise it’s a good item for kids
