Lacking Energy and Edge

It continues the trend of The Peace and the Panic. It's never in your face and aggressive. It doesn't even have much speed. It's an alternative powerpop record, basically. Neckdeep gives us some much needed fun music relief for 2020.

Fantastic album. Great band for many years but this album is definitely their most refined sound to date. I love hooks and they have some great hooks yet they don't rely on them for the whole song. Very fun to listen too. Reminds me of the feelings I got from listening to bands back in the early 2000s
