Not that I am aware of, The one I have is all stainless makes great coffee. I had this model for 7 years before I had to get a new one.

Q: does this have automatice shut off

No. It stops perking when it's ready but does not shut off on its own.

Q: Does this percolator have a light to indicate when brewing is done?

The 02811 Presto percolator has an indicator light to show when perking has completed.
