I am very particular when it comes to my lawn. I have seeked out some KBG at my local big boxed stores only to come up empty handed. A lot of them had weeds and or other types of grasses I wasn’t looking to put in my lawn. The quality is far superior than what I have previously got from home stores. The value for what I got was a little more than I expected to spend, but the results are quite phenomenal. The seeds are very tiny , so you’ll need to be very careful how you’re spreading it. The seed does take quite awhile to germinate, around 3-4 weeks, but to me, it’s worth it. The grass has been coming up in abundance. It is growing exactly where I planted it. Very dark green bluish color. I was hesitant because I was getting such a small amount of seed for the price, but that’s how Kentucky Bluegrass is. I would highly recommend this product. Very good seed without weeds! Just keep in mind that it will grow slow. Be patient. It is worth it. I would and have bought more from this supplier and the same seed, because I like consistency in planting great grass. Don’t hesitate just get it. You will not be disappointed.

This seed was an absolute lifesaver—and yard-saver! I originally got it to patch up the 'doggy disaster zones' where my furry monsters had turned my grass into their personal demolition derby. It worked perfectly for that, filling in the bare spots like magic.But then I got grass happy (you know the feeling) and started sprinkling it everywhere like I was Oprah handing out cars: 'You get grass! Easy to spread, easy to handle.

I tried new topsoil with the best well known brand premium seed for two years and only got spotted grass coverage even afterafter over seeding twice. Then spreading just 3 pounds of this seed over the grass and applying straw over the area I got grass growingIn 15 days. After 21 days the grass grew so good I could not see straw anymore. I covered 3000 square feet with just 3 pounds.

I am in disbelief and very upset bc we worked so hard preparing for this seed. I have planted Kentucky Blue Grass a number of times (overseeding) over the past 20 years on my yard and never before had this happen. We dethatched the yard first. We also aerated the ground. Put down some top soil. Applied some Starter for grass seed. Finally applying this Seed I purchased here and quarantined off the area from foot and animal traffic. I kept the seed moist as required in order for seed to germinate. Had sprinklers come on for 1 minutes multiple times per day, as did not want the seed to wash away. And Nothing! Not one. I was sold old seed.

We're supposed to get rain tomorrow so did some seed spreading. Looks as good or better then other brands, and the price is right. I'll give an update in 30 days after giving the seed a chance to germinate.

My harvester ants seem to really enjoy this seed. They’ve been feasting on it with gusto, and it appears to be a great addition to their diet. The quality of the seed is impressive—fresh and vibrant, which might be why my ants are so drawn to it.

I should tell you I have very large areas of bluegrass. I have a love hate relationship with it. It is so lush & green 365 days a yr. After all if it's good enough for a herd of race horses it's good enough for me & my dog. The hate is the amount of mowing in the early spring. Wears me out. Now about my shipment. I ordered it to take care of dead spots then to over seed in the fall. The problem when I received my bag the experation date is May of 1924. That's when I ordered it. I don't know what to expect now. We have to wait & see. Don't know how to rate. I can only hope it comes up
