This is incredible tasting coffee. It comes ground and smells amazing and come very fresh. You can see the cinnamon pieces within the bag. Soooooo delicious. The best buy for the amount and price so far. I'll be buying again.

We got introduced to Cafe de Olla at a local place. Tried it again in Austin TX last month. It is great! Flavors of cinnamon, sugar, and other spices makes it a real treat. This product is a pack of two 12-oz re-sealable bags of Cafe de Olla. You brew it in a French press or pour-through (Chemex or similar). I have used both. To me, this product is almost too sweet. The Mexican way to serve it does not use milk or cream. I brew mine with Cafe de Olla and a regular coffee to cut the sweetness. Sunday night (31 May) I used 550 mL water, 3 Tbps Cafe de Olla, and 3 Tbsp Folgers original in the French press. It was great, even black.

Great packaging and flavor, but it’s more like tea than coffee. I mixed it with my regular ground coffee to give it more of a coffee feel and taste.

Cafe de Olla is the only coffee I can make at home and actually enjoy! Pro-tip: brew it with a cinnamon stick to really bring out the flavor.

The Experience: If you are expecting the heavy, dark roast depth you get from most Mexican coffees or a traditional café de olla, this might catch you off guard. It's not a bad drink, but it lacks the body and the "kick" that I personally look for in a morning brew. Versatility: This might be a better fit for someone who enjoys light-bodied, aromatic beverages or wants a low-acid alternative to heavy roasts, but for a dedicated coffee drinker, it feels like it's missing the core coffee element. Pros: Authentic Spices: Clear and noticeable notes of cinnamon and brown sugar. Low Acid Feel: Very light-bodied, which some drinkers might find refreshing. Cons: Lacks Coffee Body: The flavor is too light and tea-like, missing the expected richness of roasted coffee. The Verdict: It isn't a "bad" product by any means, it just isn't the robust coffee experience I was hunting for. If you like the idea of a spiced, tea-like drink, you might enjoy it, but I’d approach it expecting something much lighter than standard coffee.
